These sets look amazing all together! I like the docks being tucked away in the back like that as well because it gives the sensation of the older parts of the city being overtaken by the modern parts. Similarly, I like the idea of the memorial being nestled between two big buildings but the way you have it now flows so well I wouldn't want to break it up. Maybe a future set will fit nicely around the memorial in some way 🤔

I also like your preferred arrangement but the way the cherry blossom from city blends with the one of markets whilst on the left looks sooooo good too!
I absolutely agree with your favorite composition. I would add that the sakura tree on the top of the Borg store well complements the same one on the Gardens nearby
Wow the original Ninjago City looks so cool on the right side of the Markets. The gap in the middle of the original city looks so cool next to the karaoke bar it flows perfectly. Makes me wish I got the original once it was out but I never did :(

When I finally get Markets I'm super keen on City on the left and Gardens on the right. Was hoping that one of the proposed mods would be to rebuild the artist's apartment and the fast food place to line up and perhaps have no wall in between so they would essentially be the same building. Looking forward to giving it a tinker
This is a nice arrangement, as many have said the Markets area in the middle can visually look a bit empty. To off-set this i would love to see the City Of Lanterns placed behind it but modded to give it extra height while also placing the whole set on a base plate along with all the trans-blue water tiles surrounding it so it fits in.
That’s a great idea! I’ve got something already reserved to put behind it to give the city more life. It’s not Ninjago, but it definitely has height! Ninjago expansion video coming soon!
OOH Or have waterfalls flowing down from it to the other baseplates

I plan to attach the markets to the right of the gardens and the left of the original and then the docks to the right of the original.

I can’t even watch this. I want these sets so bad but getting the first two are too expensive so I just have to admire from afar.
i think Gardens on the left of Markets exposes a bit too much of the tall bare bones side of Gardens

I really like your arrangement. I have one issue that you don’t, there is a little space between the markets and the city baseplates on mine. Got any ideas why
Thanks! Did you remove the right-most roof shingle from Markets (on the lower level)? This roof shingle interferes with City & Docks when placed to the right of Markets. You can leave it off or modify the roof a little bit as I did in the video.

These are Linnmon table tops with Adils table legs from IKEA. 😊 IKEA also has bigger tables available.
I thinknif i had all of these, i would make it so Og and Gardens are togetter, and Docks and Markets are behind them.
The way the docks were designed really kinda makes them the weak link when combined with the other sets. Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice set, but the problem is that the way it's designed you have all the detail on the backside relative to the other modulars. They should have designed it more like the Market, where the walkways recess into the set so that the main scene can be at the front.
