I had an i40, i think when it lights in orange it indicates a fault. On mine (a saloon 1.6gdi petrol style 2012) the autohold indicator was in the middle bottom row and illuminated white when switched on and green when holding the car….
I have same issue with my Hyundai i40 (2013, 1.6GDI, Diesel, Universal) and just got my car back from diagnostics. It is steering angle sensor which gives fault and I assume it is in the circuit with ABS and ESP. Will update when I will get new part and let it change.
@@marcinmanchester A little update: issue solved in TopAuto car dealership diagnostics. They calibrated the sensor and said that fault code disapeared. So in my case the sensor calibration helped - diagnostics + calibration = 100€ and done.
Anybody here have the problem with rpm bounce. I have 1.7 crdi 100 kw and sometimes rpm bounce for about 1 minute amd then stop ? NO errors at all. Drived it on hyundai service, didnt find anything. They told me not to worry about if its doing sometimes.??
@@marcinmanchester Its little weird, when its start doing that, the time is always same 1 min and 15 sec then stop. Like nothing happened. When I press AC button it stops.
@@marcinmanchester thanks for the link but video seems like for steering column rubber coupler. I thought ur talking about steering angle sensor which also sits in steering column but not in motor.
I had the same.First do a wheel alligment because i had bad track rod ends a than reset steering wheal sensor(calibrate via computer). Now work as new

У меня сейчас тоже самое проблема
И как вы решили?

Sterring rack column plug was damage. But its could be sterring angle sensor faulty.
@@marcinmanchesterDo you mean that if there is a difference in the angle of the sensor that causes this problem??
Yes exactly.
