- THIS ONE REASON is why Kyler Murray will play his BEST Football Of His Career this year! On the field, no one can deny the talent that is Kyler Murray. A quarterback who can do it all in the passing game, while also being the fastest player on it as well. He can make just about anybody miss in open field and provides a big time mismatch to opposing defenses, which is HUGE for the Arizona Cardinals! Kyler was an MVP candidate not too long ago, but his career took a massive spiral in 2022, when he tore his ACL against the New England Patriots in the backend of the season. This was a massive hurdle he has to overcome, as he's never sustained a major injury like this in his life. It seemed like everything was going wrong for him, but things continued to get worse. People were speculating the entire 2023 offseason that the Cardinals were going to move on from Murray and that Kyler isn't a starting caliber NFL QB anymore. But this wasn't what the Cardinals thought about him. Jonathan Gannon instilled trust into Kyler since day 1 and he made it known Kyler will be the teams starting QB1 for years to come. With this new established confidence, Kyler seems to really have grown and matured as a leader, which has been the biggest knock on his career so far. It seems like he's really grown as a man and he's started taking accountability like a QB should. Kyler's play on the field will always speak for itself, but if what we saw in his return holds true for 2024, Kyler has matured as a leader and will continually get better! He looked great coming off of a torn ACL and learning a new system, so with a full training camp and a full offseason, I'm excited to see his growth and I think he will have a phenomenal for the Cardinals and get back to playing at a MVP level!

That was my biggest takeaway when he came back: maturity. He seemed like he matured a ton, and that was my main issue with him. Size will always be a small concern, but his talent far outweighs that if he can stay healthy. And not just Kyler, but everyone seems to have bought into JG. Monti and JG have been crushing it and if we can get a "Detroit" type turn around, I'm all for it!

I had my doubts too, but I've watched him develop his passing skills (movement in the pocket, footwork, timing, and creating his own passing lanes) under Drew Petzing. He was a dumpster fire (technically) under Kliff. But you can see how much of a difference can make with a proper OC/HC. They breathed new life into his professional development. Believe me, if he starts messing up again, I'll be one of the first to dump the K1 Kool-aid down the drain and start raising questions again.

Yes I think he can as long as he stays healthy and continues to work smarter not harder. Also if he continues to grow maturely he can take us to the promise land in the playoffs.

Remember when Patrick Peterson put him on blast? I honestly believe he made Larry legend retire . Murray has had top receivers already, Poor leadership, the only difference I see now he has matured as a leader as a quarterback as a person, which I look forward to watching 😤🔥💪🏽🏈 Murray 2024 MVP.

I don't know If you noticed. But last year as he was out, He gotten a lot better at interews and press conferences. Before he was only giving one word answers and allways mumbled Now!? He's speaking clearly talks a lot more and has more interest in the game.

Yr 6 no more excuses and being most coddled QB I have ever watched in almost 50 yrs.. see how a full season if he makes it before the predictions..but tons of fans are one way and others have watched enough.. I don’t talk height .. I believe he doesn’t read a defense and spends too much time locking on one target too much.. 26 tds 14 ints .. 3745 passing if they want to focus on running so much..

If he didn't read defenses, why isn't his interception rate higher or his percentage of passes lower? He doesn't turn the ball over, and he's one of the most accurate qbs in the nfl. That's not going to happen by staring down one receiver. Coddled? Dude gets more hate than anyone for anything that people could throw at him. Cards offense is a top 12 and lower with him than without. Lamar Jackson best season was last year and he won mvp. Look at kylers best season and compare it to Jacksons. Then come on here and explain it. Where you see him getting coddled, is beyond me.

@@seancue2803 Lamar’s best season was in 2019 not last yr so check up on that.. and as for MVP I would think also leading your team to winning record has a lot to do with it and making that playoffs consistently..
