Should get better velocity with N570 or Retumbo. 8133 will pressure up early. I’ve tried it in many calibers, it works ok but definitely not the best option. I run the 245’s @3000-3050 in my 30 Sherman Mag using 84 grains of n570
@@quarterminutemagnumsonly problem is that it’s a single shot. Round is 4.125” long. I would like to re barrel this rifle when I burn out the barrel for 30 Nos with the 230’s. The rum case is my fav that’s why I favor the nosler cases perfect size
What is your cartridge overall length? This is a very intriguing competitor to the 300 PRC, when you seat beyond SAAMI specs. Custom chamber I imagine?
Each to their own liking of something like shooting such a heavy 30 cal bullet. For a 30 cal magnum I started at age 16 with a Winchester Model 70 in 300 Win mag then I've owned 1 Remington model 700 in 300 Wby mag and 5 Weatherby mark 5 in 300 Wby mag and I have 1 custom made Mauser 98 commercial in 300 Wby mag. Always I used as the heaviest bullets are 180 grain that kill everything to all distances. From my hunting areas of the west side of the Pacific NW to Alaska using the 300 Weatherby mag and 180 grain Barns TSX bullets has done well but I have to say the 30 cal magnums are a little light for Alaskan Yukon moose, but you will kill the moose, but it takes to many bullets to down these Hugh Moose. Rifle of 338 are far better for Moose than 30 cal rifles.
I have watched every video for at least the last year or more. I see only steel barrels. Do you do any buofs with carbon fiber? Hells Canyon, Proof Research etc. ? If no, why?
Dear Sir - accuracy first. There are no Carbon Fiber barrels at the Super Shoot; if they were capable of winning, Bench-Rest shooters would be using them - so would we. Accuracy first, last and above all else. Thanks...................

I was always curious about the 30 nosler. I built a 300 RUM for ELR and it pushes the 245 @ 3140 out of a 32” barrel
