27-year veteran of the CHP-California Highway Patrol has been arrested for Raping a Barstow woman after offering her a ride home, authorities announced. CHP-California Highway Patrol Sgt. James W. Pitsor, 49, who lives in Barstow, was arrested by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department after investigators served search warrants on his home and patrol car, said Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Toni Broten.

According to court documents, an undercover detective with the Kern County Sheriff's Office Special Victims Unit posed as a 16-year-old girl on a dating app when Pardue reached out, posing as a married woman.
Court documents outlined how Brian Pardue, posed as a Woman, discussed sexual acts with the minor over the app. Pardue asked how old the girl was and the undercover officer responded Age 16.

Her defense is that these documents were all already public information, attached to court filings where they were made public in open court. We'll see if that's true.
We would normally expect the union to despise their anti corruption investigator. LA County jails have been awful places for a long time. Most of the reason their awful has to do with the inmates. But some of it comes from corrupt officers.
I worked in an industry adjacent to criminal justice, so I would occasionally hear stories from former inmates. I just a few years ago, I remember I had a 24 year old client who had been in jail on drug charges. He told me he had filed a grievance against the correctional officers in the jail. They woke him up at 3 in the morning, so no one could see. They pulled him out of his cell and brought him to a windowless room. There, four officers surrounded him and told him he should drop his complaint, which he did. They were going to beat him up. This stuff goes on.

When those deputies shot that boy security guard in the back out there in Gardena, he would not cooperate with the investigation, told those deputies to plead the 5th on the stand, he never cooperated with any investigation against the Sheriff's dept. He did the exact same thing Lee Baca and undersheriff Paul Tanaka did. They covered up numerous criminal activities, he's no different.

Alex Villanueva was one of Los Angeles best Sheriffs in its entire history. He didn't play the political B.S....he fought corruption and helped people of LA. He was ousted by the corrupt political system. He was a true leader for the people.

Who's shocked that another DA is corrupt? Im not. 4th DA so far. GA DA, NY DA ( 2 of those) and now a CA DA.

Its not mind boggling. This is all by design. Between the retiring of officers during "the summer of love" and others leaving places like Seattle, Portland, multiple locations in California and other Metro's all over the Nation like Minneapolis, St. Louis, New York and many many others because of the feeling of lack of support, requirements of the cities leaders and the Departments Hierarchy of "Standing Down", not upholding laws and allowing chaos to ensue you had officers who ACTUALLY wanted to do their job and were ok officers leaving and retiring out of the force and being replaced with recruits who would toe the line and follow directives. More happened through demoralization by DA's across the Nation in these Metro's and counties not pursuing charges against criminals who were arrested for crimes in the communities and against it members and were continuously kicked loose, MANY without even having to bond out or being charged WHATSOEVER. More and more were replaced by "order followers" who had no interest in "keeping the community safe" or holding criminals accountable. More and more who would act as the "Teeth and Claws" of State and instead of "serving" the community were charged instead to extort members through citations and ticketing. Even worse they were being set upon the citizenry to shut down buisnesses who tried to operate during "lockdowns" and those who were forced to defend their properties against the now running rampant ACTUAL criminals. This is a PLANNED swap out of "Public Servants" who were charged to "Protect and Serve" the communities in which they were employed and switched out with what effectively we can call "head crackers" who have the desire and are following orders to intimidate and extort community members who are just your "Average everyday working American". This is a planned attack. A dismantling of the systems, the safeguards and protections designed and put in motion to help facilitate a functional, symbiotic society, economy and a sovereign nation. Dont fool yourself. This is PART OF THE PLANNED DEMOLITION of Independent Nations in order to usher in a NEW governance and what can only TRULY be described as a DYSTOPIAN future. We further ourselves down the road to hell. Its ALL by design. When FAR too many things COINCIDENTLY coincide with one another, it STOPS being coincidental, and starts becoming ORCHESTRATED
