But again this is not even about my opinion or what stories we know. The marvel comics leadership has confirmed this information themselves. They spoke about it and said without an anger boost, Spiderman at base strength, vs Hulk at base strength; Spiderman wins.
@360Production.Services So I knew tthis “Marvel” (more like Huge MCU normie) fan in the real world he doesn’t really like Spider-Man and said that Spider-Man is weak and not that great and important of a hero and weaker than Captain America and can barely last in a city compared to Cap, and when he watched Captain America Civil War, he said Spider-Man sucked during the civil war airport fight and was so bad (I told that person that Spidey only had 6 months of experience and that person said that they did not care and STILL expected way more from him). I even told him how he was whooping Falcon (who he says is badass) and Winter Solider’s ass and he resorted to saying “Yeah Well He’s Very Annoying” and doesn’t get the concept of how Spidey cracks jokes to annoy his enemies and defends Deadpool and said Deadpool was funny and not annoying and when I had to explain to him why Spidey cracks jokes, he said he “never saw it in that way”. and keep in mind his favorite heroes are Deadpool, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Captain America, Antman, Falcon, and Punisher (who he knows nothing about besides his cool weapons)
one great demonstration of this is on civil war, when peter held the hand of bucky, while on the winter soldier, cap actually tried his hard to block bucky's punch, on the otherhand, spiderman held his hand with no effort
The reason why Spiderman can beat the hulk in a 1v1 is NOT because he is stronger than the hulk. It’s because Spiderman keeps telling the hulk jokes, which makes the hulk laugh and he stops being angry, so he turns back into Bruce banner. It’s an incredible ability because Spiderman doesn’t even have to fight to win against one of the strongest avengers.
@@Casual-Yohoho-Enjoyer I wonder what the barrier is for the funny level to unhulk the hulk, like is Dave Chappelle canonically able to defeat the hulk by just telling jokes?
This is why like Spider-man so much. It really takes a lot of restraint and humility to be a hero. "With great power comes great responsibility" -- Uncle Ben/Stan Lee.
Spiderman is basically a small version of hulk that has over the top agility balance and reflex. He’s actually one of the scariest hero when he becomes a villain.

There was a foreshadowing of that when he effortlessly stopped the punch of the Winter Soldier. The dude looked so shocked, tells you how unusual that is! Winter soldier did face multitude of powerful enemies and held his own
@@BaneOfV lmao that’s a reach. Spider-Man is much stronger than nearly everyone, he’s second to Hulk. Spidey just holds back, he’s also a teen too. Killing someone would mess him up for years, and that would prolly make him want more.
I think most fans knew this, considering the famous comic where doc ock gets control of Spider-Man's body, and accidentally punches scorpion's jaw off, not knowing his own strength, and making him realize that Peter always holds back in fights
Spider Man also pulls his punches out of principle . Because his character is the representation of what a true hero should be : a person who wants to save people and not hurt them , not even their enemies .
Yes, Spiderman is actually Saitama lite version. He can kill a tough villian like Scorpion with one punch but even an ordinary thug can tank multiple of his punches because of the way he holds back and the extreme control he has on himself.
Actually it’s also confirmed that Spider-man can sock a person’s jaw off, during the time Doc Ock had control of Peter’s body. He said he was surprised that Peter had that much power and realizes that Peter had always pulled his punches because he was a hero.
@@USAandPROUD Lets not forget that Scorpion was made specifically to fight Spider-Man and that his strength was stated AND shown to be greater than Peter's. He's not only incredibly strong but his strength grows A LOT as he gets older and more muscular
In far from home you can see he gets angry and throws a punch to the Mysterio projection and he absolutely destroys a concrete beam, his serious punches would destroy a human skull with ease, the only reason he didn't fracture Norman's head at the end of no way home was because he wanted to kill him slowly with his own creation, which is dark af
Yes, and Spiderman was whole time joking around with Captain America due to which he lost. He could had cracked the skull open with a single punch if he wanted to. I just watched that scene again and if you look closely at his hand, he's barely even holding Bucky's fist while twisting his arm. He could've stuck his pinky out like he was sipping a cup of tea.
@@Knight-Bishop The way he effortlessly blocked and held onto that thing AND acting like a giddy child over it to add insult to injury was always hilarious to me. Bucky's face is the cherry on top for me. All this from an at the time inexperienced 15 year old boy who hadn't yet honed his powers and abilities. Even more impressive when you recall what that titanium arm can do.... Rip open a car door casually, cause a sizeable crack in the concrete road, damage Tony's Mark 46 armor a bit in the chest and hand area (probably could do more if Bucky had the opportunity to do so), catch Cap's vibranium shield, using said arm to rip Falcon out of the air, forcing Cap to block that arm with his shield using BOTH hands with visible effort clear on his face, punching Cap right in the chest with enough force to send him quite a ways away from him, etc.
@@stevenlefferts7591 Meh, as far as I understand it, that has more to do with the wide gap in experience between Spidey and Cap (inexperienced 15 year old as I previously said) and Peter not yet honing himself, spider-sense included, as he later does after Civil War, but I see where you're coming from.
Spider-Man is durable enough that when a normal person punches him, he doesn't get hurt, but the attacker's wrist breaks. In the comics, when Doc Ock took over Peter's body, he didn't realize just how much Peter holds back and punched the Scorpion so hard that his jaw was ripped off. Spider-Man can also lift huge amounts of rubble. Honestly, he's surprisingly a very underrated character, despite his popularity
There's a comic in which Doc Octo controls Peter's body, and he fights someone with Peter's body and literally punches a hole in his enemy with not much effort, and in that moment he realizes that Peter has held back on all fights
There was a story line in the comics where Doc Oct took control of Spider-Man's body and became "Superior Spider-Man". When he was fighting Scorpion, he literally took his jaw off with a single punch, Octavius realized how much Parker was holding back.
still hilarious when Doc Ock found out about it when he was in Spider-Man's body and knocked off Scorpion's jaw. surprised that after all those years, Parker has been holding his punches yet disappointed that Parker never tries to achieve the true potential of his powers.
It’s not that he never tries he doesn’t want to kill and angry Peter would not hold back his punches Peter literally beat William Fisk till the point of near death n the comics
@@retricallltann6243 He really wasn't planning to kill Fisk but only to give a warning not to put him into the edge and show that if he wanted to, he could kill any of them but doesn't because of his morals. Dude met Black cat and didn't go easy on her and straight up punched her, knocking out her teeth. Otto was disappointed at Peter being too soft instead of using the potential of his powers not to just stop crime but end it.
@@siphonophores i actually remember (but i may be wrong) that spidey after beating up fisk near death in front of the prisoners making so that fisk lost the thing he cared the most "the respect" (in back in black) he told him if aunt may died he would have come back to that prison and kill him (he even explained how he would have killed him i think it was something related with his spider web attached to fisk mouth so that he wouldn't be able to breath anymore or something like that) also he had the black suit that time so he was even more threataning.
In the old comics, but a lot of people wrote different stories for heros/villans, they would get published but it wouldn't stick. Just like how Spiderman was one of the strongest hero's in the MCU but after a few years later it turned out he wasn't.
Remember in Capt. America Civil War, he stopped Winter Soldier’s metal arm with one HAND as a COMPLETE AFTERTHOUGHT. Even Bucky was like #WTF? And when Tony Stark casually mentions that Spider-Man, without much effort, stopped a car going 30mph, with A WEB. I think he did STILL hold back on Osborn the 2nd time, b/c he could’ve killed him with one punch - - in one second. He got some of his frustrations out by punishing him.
This was actually addressed in the comics. He isn't "afraid" he will kill people, he knows it. One of the first fights after Doc Ock took over his body was against The Scorpion. Ock thought Spidey was far weaker than he was because he always massively held back, and therefore put his all into the first punch, proceeding to remove the jaw of a superhuman. Imagine what would happen to his more human opponents.
you mean like when he punched a hole through Kingpin's gut? Spidey is genuinely terrifying if he isn't quipping. I'd rather be in a room with a smiling Batman than a Serious Peter, at least Bats isn't gonna kill me.
Imagine how much stronger he's gonna be when he's older. I really hope this Spidey really shows how powerful peter really is since neither Andrew nor Tobey got that chance. Well other than the train scene that is
@@imperialdra-mon5907 you do know that Spider-Man can can get stronger than he already is just by lifting weights but he doesn't because that would increase the strength in his punches

A 100 year old assassin who has regenerative properties, enhanced speed, enhanced strength, extensive training from the KGB, and a host of other experimental shit from Hydra. Cap had basic bitch army training, was good at geometry, and had super strength/speed/stamina. His vibranium shield took the full force of a punch I'm certain Bucky has used to crush skulls before. The energy of that hit, the angle of the hit, and Cap's lack of knowledge led to that scene. Spiderman was able to use his senses to mark and track the hit. His spider sense would have allowed him to figure out the best method to redirect the force of it. Spiderman is also stronger than Captain America. Lastly, the Hulk was the size of a semi-truck. His weight, stance, center of gravity, and bulk stopped the chitari worm, not just his punch. Peter would probably put a Spiderman hole through it.

Except in the second fight Peter is still pulling his punches because he wants to make norman suffer, Peter could snap his neck in a single punch but that would be too easy that's why Peter was planning on using the glider to impale him, it's a big time failure to be killed with your own weapon regardless of who you are. it's also an easy way to pop in a little nostalgia back to Osbourne’s original death

This was actually addressed in the comics. He isn't "afraid" he will kill people, he knows it. One of the first fights after Doc Ock took over his body was against The Scorpion.
