Great video on Loreto. We love your enthusiasm towards Mexico. Because of favorable videos like yours about visiting Mexico, we were brave enough to spend two weeks driving a circle tour of the Yucatán peninsula. We went during Covid and had a wonderful time. We didn’t even speak a word of Spanish but the people so kind in spirit were gracious and helped us with every aspect. Also, in La Paz, I did an overnight kayaking camping trip with a tour guide about 10 years ago to the Santa Espiritu islands and slept on the beach! We swam with the sea lions there! Don’t miss this experience if you’re heading to La Paz
That sounds amazing! Do you have info for the guide you camped with? - D
Funny I also ordered the enmolada. So good. That place on the Malecon was also our favorite for both dinner and breakfast...food was amazing and the people there are so nice.
No way, that's too funny! Do you have any other recommendations in Loreto we will be heading back there soon. - D
@@EatSeeRV Can't think of anything except that place on the Malecon. We went back for breakfast too. Crossed back on Saturday and are now back in Washington looking around for taco trucks :)
I have watched lots of videos on Loreto, but none that did such a wonderful job of capturing the food places and the shopping streets... I seriously did NOT think Loreto had much in the way of shopping or food until I watched this one... My mouth is still watering after looking at that incredible Mole !! When I toured the Large Pyramids in Central Mexico I ate at a place that had a dark Red Mole that I will NEVER forget!! YUMMY!!!! Thanks for sharing your perspective... As always I am SO happy to see you back in Mexico... one of my all time favorite places on the Planet!
Thank you glad you enjoyed it!
The fall is a reminder: all the protection, all the time (which, to be fair, I sure don't abide by in and around town.) Your fall is a very good reminder to never take traction for granted. I ride a BMW R1200 GSA and in a couple of months will ride it down to Loreto, where we are under contract for a house we should close on in about a month and a half. Ironically, one of the rides I am most looking forward to is the ride out to the Mission. So, definitely a ride for full protection. 🙄I've been looking forward to your video on Loreto, which I knew would come as you made your way south. No way to pass Loreto by, for sure. We're very excited to call it our home.
Safe travels and enjoy! Yes very lucky to get to call it your home.
I just became aware of Loreto in the last few months from The Country Collectors channel, so that was cool that you showed a sample of their footage of the nearby islands. the town itself looks so laid back but also with a nice dose of historical content. the landscape around the mission you drove to is breath taking! I still havent been to Baja myself... but there is such a sense of romance to it, very similar to the old southwest of the US. glad there were no serious injuries with the motorcycle crash! does that running water mean there has been rain there? here in Guadalajara we have only had rain about 3 times since mid October - one was a massive thunderstorm on New Year's Eve. the flowering trees are in full bloom now and only about 2 more months until rainy season returns.
The @country collectors are such a great couple -- so kind and welcoming. The running water was from the natural springs nearby. It hadn't rained there in 4 years until last September! Baja is VERY rustic, rural, and remote. So different from mainland in so many ways. And yes very much like the wild west.
If i wasn't sold on being a lifetime follower already, the level of foodie that came out on this one locked me down! sad to see the crash. it was heavy enough in the short. worse to see it in the middle of the video when i knew it was coming. As always, I'm super jealous of your trip.❤
Haha thank you. Good food will do that 😋
The aquaduct was beautiful!
Right, so cool!
Aracherra is so good! When you get to La Paz, try the aracherra at Rancho Viejo. That mission is my favorite - I was so impressed with the aquaduct, but yeah, that road getting there had me super uncomfortable. And we got a flat tire... Coronados Island is amazing - anchored there several times! And we saw a sperm whale someplace around here (right behind our boat)!
Thank you! We will add that to our list. :) The mission was super cool. Sorry to hear of the flat tire - sounds like that road is out to get us. How cool to have the whale right at your boat! Amazing!
GREAT video! So glad to be able to see some of Loreto, we’re thinking of making a stop there! And every time we order agua de la casa, we talk about how we’re so glad y’all have us that tip! 😄
Haha yay!! So glad it helped. Hope you can explore some of Loreto, it is beautiful. And the RV park near the airport is big rig friendly if needed :) Just make reservations in advance it books early!
I was cravin Mexico Lunes! Can’t wait to watch this tonight!
Yay!
Very enjoyable video! I like the flow of the superb images assorted with the best choice of music and commentaries. Very tastefully done and makes you feel like you wanna be there too.
Thank you! This comment is everything we hope to hear from our videos
Great video series of baja, you guys have made a great travel channel (and mexican food channel too). I just wanted to say something about the vegetables in mexican cousine, there is a lot of them when you cook in mexico, just go to any house in mexico and moms have lots of fresh vegetables in the kitchen. tomatos, chiles, cebollas, elote, calabacitas rellenas, huitlacoche fongus, romero, guacamole, pico de gallo, ensalada de nopales, ceviche, rajas con crema, chiles rellenos, caldo tlalpeño, crema de elote, tortillas, etc. I think you mean there are not many vegetables in "Antojitos mexicanos", which is the mexican fast and not so healthy food that also exist. But "la comida en casa" we sure eat a lot of vegatebles. Great video as usual... enjoy the rest of baja =)
Yes that's very true! Thank you for sharing ☺️
Great video!!!
Thanks!
Awesome as always!!!
Thank you Carolyn! :)
@@EatSeeRV glad you are alright after your crash. Was the lady that fell ok also?
That spill was scary! Thank God you're okay! Your camera work and editing is great. Have fun!
Thank you so much!
Another great episode. Happy boondocking worked out. This is part of why we go to Baja, boondockers like a hunted species in our region of the US. Great tip on fixing the screws. Still learning about the neverending fixes and mods it takes to make an RV home. City street boondocking looks safer and easier in Loreto than major cities in US.
They're becoming hunted down here too. There's been some really irresponsible van lifers/rvers down here and they're shutting down a lot of beaches. And yes, never ending repairs. Loreto was a very safe/comfortable place to street camp for sure. But it's also a fairly small city compared to most places in the USA.
@@EatSeeRV I'm also rider and camper so I just discovered it. Expect all fine. Maybe if you are still around la paz we can meet.
This is awesome guys, I'm getting ready to drive Baja in August!
Enjoy and safe travels! - D
Looks like fun. Can't believe you ate that whole burrito, Liz! I am glad you weren't hurt from the bike accident. 💖🙏✌️
Hahah! It was DELICIOUS! We are too mama, thank you!
Thanks for sharing another wonderful video like always, beautiful views and the food looks so good, thanks God you are safe and keep up with the awesome content 🙏👍🤗
Thank you Miguel! 💗
Thanks!
Wow thank you for this very kind tip!
Thank you for the Awesome videos.
Thank you for watching :) We appreciate you so much!
Really enjoyed this. We spend lots of time in Loreto and love the food. Found another great place to eat from watching this, so thank you! Also, one of my favorite things was you getting our friend cruising by in her Yellow “Thing”.
That's awesome! Glad you enjoyed it!
Editing and flow/tempo on point!!! 🔥
Thank you 💖
Liz that burrito at the end wow that was big burrito , looks like a great Town to visit for sure , thanks for sharing and be safe
Hahah it was a massive burrito, and oh so good. Thank you for watching Rudy :)
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS THEY CURE DEPRESIÓN 😊
Yayy! But really hope you're not depressed. If you are we're wishing you well
We Love Loreto❤We LOVED Super Burro🌟
YESSS I could go for a Super Burro right now.
I am glad you guys are okay afterbyour spill, now you know what we said as bikers, there are 2 kinds, "the one that fell and the one that will" just keep on keeping on!👍👍👍👍
Yup!
It looks kind of crazy to be driving a big rig (30 plus feet) through those little town roads and RV parks, but I guess sometimes you don't have a choice - home is home, great video!
Yes, it does, but everyone has different tolerance levels!
Loreto BCS - my happy place 😊
It's a lovely town!
Less Junk More Journey just went through Loreto heading south too!
Yes, I believe they're long gone from there (like us too) we always post behind. But we've stayed in touch with them.
Reminds me of our trips in 2010 and 2015. Stayed at Rivera del Mar both times. Snorkeled and golfed at Nopolo with whatever name they give the place these days. This is a Fonatur development that simply lacks synergy between the Malecon, the airport, the golf course and the marina because they are all so far apart. But! That is why it has stayed small and secluded, unlike Cabo and Cancun. Also reminds me of Huatulco which, one of my other favorites, may it also stay small and secluded!
Small and secluded is our favorite
On your way down if you can drop in to MiraFlores for the great but pricy lobster tacos. If you head that way after La paz. Its a small but really nice puebla.
Thank you for the recommendation.
We have enjoyed your videos for a long time . We are from Rochester New York. Loved that video. Heading to Spain in June. Are you guys planning any vids from Barcelona? Thank you!!!
We won't be there till later in the year. We may visit Barcelona. Have planned out our travels through Spain just yet. Enjoy your trip! Where are you going in Spain?
@@EatSeeRV Barcelona and Madrid. Next year Lisbon and Marrakech . We live in Vero beach in the winter and if you guys ever need a place to stay you have got it!! Safe travels in our favorite country Mexico!!!
Thank you 💗
The Best advice I’ve gotten here in Baja !
Don’t drive at night! And if you do watch out for Cattle and Big trucks .... and anything else that lurks in the dark 👍
Yes the roads at night are dangerous to navigate with wildlife and topes!
That stunning water lures me in every single time, but then you bring on the food.......and I start drooling too. I actually just finished supper and then started imagining how yummy that steak burrito would taste. Pretty sure I’d look like a whale after a trip to Baja. :) Enjoy yourselves and safe travels!
Haha the food is so drool worthy! We've actually lost weight some how? Not sure.
You guys totally deserve a TV show!!! Your videos are so high quality and fun!
Aw thank you. So kind of you to say :)
Loreto is a great little town. It seems like the locals don't really hang out in the centro area so it's really quiet there on weekdays and non cruise ship days.Rominita's is a great spot to walk to everything if you can you fit. Friends managed to cram a 40ft DP in there. We have to try that burrito!
WOW! 40 ft in that spot is insane. Was it since they made the roads mostly pedestrian only? There's tons of planters and pillars now making it really hard to turn.
@@EatSeeRV Ha. Yeah this year.
Silicone works well to keep screws and nuts tight.
Loreto looked pretty cool. We liked the church/mission. As fellow motorcycle riders, it is no fun to “go down”. As you know, it is only a matter of time. Christine said you guys looked like you’ve got some sun. I was surprised to hear Liz say it was still cool there. Be safe and always wear your protective gear when riding.
Yes going down is an inevitable part of riding - especially off road. We are finally getting some sun! Mulege's beaches had some nice sunny days but Loreto was quite chilly and windy in mid to late February.
Hey, if you like Mole you should visit the Number One Colonial City in Mexico, Puebla. That is where the nuns of the Convento de Santa Clara invented the Mole dish, which in its original has 22 ingredients and takes two days to prepare. After you tested the original you will think very different about mexican food in general. If you enjoy food, Puebla es the culinary capital of Mexico, if you did not know.
Thanks. We have been there twice 😁 it's one of our favorite cities (and states) in Mexico.
Hola chicos Dios los bendiga siempre I like this video
Gracias :)
Welcome to MATAMOROS TAMAULIPAS
:)
Again...glad you're o.k. (spill). Great Vlog. 🇨🇦
Thank you! We're glad it wasn't worse. Glad you enjoyed it!
Long time wanderer here. I’m torn about what bike to hang off the back of our RV. I saw you upgraded from a scooter. What’d you get and what’s the advantage over a scooter? I know it’s after the fact but after a helmet and gloves, knee pads for riding a motorcycle because that’s the part that hits in a slow speed crash. Volleyball or garden knee pads are cheap and easy. Happy travels!
We wanted something that was more off road capable. We like to take our bike to trailheads and use it from our boondocking spots (often off road) and the scooter just didn't cut it. We have side bags that hold just as much as our under the seat storage on the scooter did. But we have to store our helmets inside. It's a fair trade off for us!
Amazing as always. Hey, just FYI, there are several of your links that are broken. Just thought I would bring it to your attention so you can check them, but I live in Az, if that matters, and your travel insurance link, must have Mexico items on Amazon, camp off grid solar power, Vlog set up, and other links were broken. Just in case it matters I wanted to let you know. Other than that, see you in the next video.
Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention! We were not aware and are on it now. Thanks :)
Breaking the RV, dumping the bike, banging up knees... You guys deserve a massage and spa day. With booze!
It was quite a crazy week.
I have to say, on our way up to San Javier yesterday I remembered this video of you guys dropping the bike. I duckwalked my bike across, but man was it slippery! Thanks for heads up and glad you weren't hurt!
So glad you remembered this and kept yourself from tumbling! It is soooo slippery!
Great video. Best to spend pesos or dollars there?
Normally pesos but depends on the conversion the place is offering. Good idea to have both.
Pesos, you're in Mexico
Sometimes in Baja they accept pesos and it's a better rate! We exclusively used pesos (because we're in Mexico) but we're shocked many places advertised and didn't mind dollars.
That hat is designed after cave paintings .
Yes we know! So cool
😀🥰🤩
Thanks for watching Bonnie!
You guys could be traveling with Less Junk More Journey. Karen and Greg
Yes they were down here but they have already returned to the USA. Didn't catch them this trip
Gee guys... put a warning sign..... Do not Watch this Video on Empty Stomach"....... my mouth is so watery.... now I am hungry... That Burrote needed some guacamole, ..... I already gained a couple of pounds just to see you eat all that yummy food. I have to pause the video to go eat something...LOL....
Hahaha!! That should be the warning for pretty much every vlog in Mexico. You know we have to eat allll the food. Enjoy your meal!
I’m concerned about the lady that fell, hit her head in the back 9:24. That can be very dangerous
Yes it was very scary! She was okay but hurt her shoulder. 😞
I crashed twice in Mexico just like that. Uuf
Yikes. Not fun. Hope there was no injuries (to you or the bike).
@@EatSeeRV ooooh some scrapes and bruises. It was quite a while ago.
People watching you two on CZcams may think you are worth a big ransom! They do not realize that you live every day from your small $ you to receive.
I'm not sure I follow here. Haha!
You've lost your mind to be anywhere in Mexico. Nothing short of gambling with your lives.
Simply not true. But you can believe what you'd like.
Wondering why you watched this video if you feel that way. Or maybe you just jumped in to comment without the benefit of actually watching.
Free speech warning? I'm out. 🤡👎
What are you talking about?
The whole laying in bed while talking… not a good look
Hmm, we were actually being more intimate filming that scene than usual... or so we thought. - D
How can you dine and fill your belly with all that food , when there is Starving injured Dogs & Cats on street next to you ?? Kinda selfish ??
Me not eating isn't a solution to ending hunger for humans or animals.
@@EatSeeRV , you not the Person that share or care , you see your self Needs first and only . The money that you make from the USA you spend in Mexico. When you see animal suffering you should think about there dying needs !!!first …. and try to do all you can , include sharing your food with them .. or helping them in any way you can . You enjoying food and ignoring suffering just next to you !!!.. its cold , and definitely selfish behavior… not what God intended from humans
Actually in Loreto there are 3 organizations that are working on the dog and cat homelessness and doing spay and neuter clinics a few times a year with funds from donations to their nonprofit organizations. If you would like to help with that they are for Dogs: Stray Paws or Animalandia. And for cats: Soft Paws Cat Sanctuary Loreto BCS Mexico. All of them have Facebook pages so YOU with your caring heart can donate the badly needed funds to continue to help the street dog and cat population.
@@1JaxonBrown , Thank you .. I appreciate that information and will do . I’m sure your caring heart will not let you indulge on food and recording that will there is animal starving 2 feet away from you . Or maybe im mistaken and you can care less
bodies on the streets , lol i think say "to be relaxed in mexico" is click bait bad joke
🤡
@@EatSeeRV like your life, a joke of a sob
