Regarding the topic of this song, it's all about needs not being met.. and it goes both ways. I think we suck about communicating about it sometimes, or sometimes so much has been built together it's hard to know where to begin to disassemble. People are just trying to address unmet needs. I think it's a case for being more open, honestly, for *some* people as opposed to being monogamous. It's hard to get that chemistry right with one person, be able to handle each other's trauma responses, be in tune and connected. There's so much disconnection we are struggling to navigate through.
This reminds me of my previous relationship, he just didn’t wanna make an effort, didn’t want to make me feel special and repeatedly telling lies and making excuses for his appalling efforts just because he never been in a relationship before but I hadn’t either and I felt like I made more of the effort and that everything felt one sided to me and he wondered why I talk about other guys and I only talked about them not cheated with them, he wouldn’t admit to being gay as he made it too obvious he was and at times I wish I could’ve cheated on him with someone but didn’t cause it’s not right and two wrongs don’t make a right but anyway… I found way better I’m a happy girl and I’m glad this cover exists, Fav Tiktoker ❤
