I love 1v1 so much more than 4 player games, I can't stand the politics and reliance on others stupidity. More 1v1s!!!
2 things. 1) I can understand that guy who was shocked by the early game rolls. While it MAY be true that the dice even out in the long run, when the dice are extremely disproportionately favorable to one player in the early game, it becomes almost impossible to come back. Your production compounds.
2) That 3rd game was brutal for your opponent. The number of ore, wheat and brick that you blocked was insane. 15 resources blocked was clippling.

Thats the issue with him playing on a new account. The matchmaking puts him against terrible players. I prefer to see Phantom vs the actual top 100 ranked (whichd would require him to play during odd Australian hours).
The other annoying thing is that he only posts wins (2 losses between these games shown) so its really just watching him beat up on newbie players.
Wud rather watch a close loss than a dominant win over one step above a bot.
@@joshuaruffin7140 it’s documented phantom is #2 in the world. He showed his game history of 18 straight wins.
He doesn’t just show his wins…he just wins 70% of his games
@@alikassam5403 Its true hes #2 but what you fail to see is WHO he is playing against. Almost all matches are in the middle of the night in USA so he isnt facing most of the top 100 ranked.
Look at history and see the win% of the players he faces. They are all 47-52% range with a few exceptions.
Every single player in these daily vids are awful and make terrible plays. Go look at the ranks of each in this video.

No matter what time of the day you play getting to #2 in the world is hard. He’s gotten into the top 10 2 seasons in a row. He’s had success with multiple accounts and is winning in tournaments.

Great videos and commentary. Hard stuck plat trying to get diamond and your videos have been helping my thinking.
Even though it is your second account, it's much more interesting if you keep trying to make the best plays.
This game mode is relatively new and not all strategies/plays have been played/explored fully so it's nice to experiment more with different things and play more loosely.

Love the vids! In the second game, did you consider taking the 8-5-10 and build to the 6-5-9? Really a moot point given the resign.
