Nice rig! The one thing that would concern me is braking ability of the 4-wheeler. Things can get out of hand real fast if traction is lost going down even a slight grade. A lot of weight in that trailer!
ok, thanks for that, just out of interest what model is the crane? is it a Farma 38? and what powerpack are you running it with, would a 1500psi 14litre/min pump run it quickly enough. sorry for all the questions but this is the best home made trailer i have seen.
Me Likey that seems to work pretty good i need a dual axle atv trailer with hydraulic dump and maby 3500lb capacity what would you suggest and do you have any plans for the log trailer cuz i might be able to modifie it with a extendable dump bed ?
hi how hard was it to make the adjustable axle on a hydraulic ram? looking to make a similar trailer, also are the wheels on a swinging beam or just a solid axle? cheers Charlie
Mike70359 sorry to comment so late, like 6 years, but most of these operators online are about as good as hanging on to your wiener while doing it. I could do it WAY faster, and, I could do it faster loading it by hand than most people in videos.
