  • It is perhaps St. Louis’s most scenic, iconic, romantic, stretches of roadway, but Leonor K Sullivan Boulevard in front of the Gateway Arch is now completely “off-limits” to vehicle traffic amid reports of soaring crime and gunfire there.

    Over the last 30 years the city has done this panic do nothing response and shut it down many times before. And like every time they did this in the past its not changed a thing to prevent crime. It just moves it a block over.

  • @Starkada
    @Starkada Před 2 lety +17

    So they literally did nothing about the crime and gunfire part, they're just forcing the criminals to move the crime and gunfire parties to a different location so they can wreak havoc at another spot. Personally, I think I preferred it better when they were all the way down at the riverfront where it's isolated.

      Pretty much the typical st louis area response to crime. Move it down the road and let someone else.deal with it. Both the County and City have been dealing with crime like this for years.

So many hours spent siting in my car at night drinking a beer, smoking some weed & just peacefully watching the River & boats, even stepping back to look at our skyline. Watching lowrider cars & other old school cars drive by bcuz everyone is out & of course u gotta bring out your nice car. Memories that are more positive than negative for me🤷🏾‍♂️
