Hard to tell the difference Good because you can hear your tap sound clearly Bad because it's obviously not your fingers so the feeling is totally different
as long as u have a screen protector, it won't really damage ur screen ofc it depends on how hard u r hitting it rmb to test them on ur device first cuz sometimes they might not work perfectly, i couldn't use them on my ipad
