I love how Spider-man universe was so nostalgic. It doesn't need to be dark like Batman. Every heroes are different in their own ways.

My favorite part of this game was listening to all the "KID MODE" voices

when i beginned playing spiderman 2000 i chose kid mode because in normal i always died now i will finish this game and spiderman 2000 in NORMAL difficulty

for some reason this game and the first kind of creeped me out loved em but the second especially has a very dark tone for spiderman

I played the first game on my PlayStation 2 where I have to stop the symbiote invasion which was caused by Doctor octopus!🕹️🎮
Back in my kiddo days, this was one of my first PS1 games I got complety into. And the funny thing was that the intro in that game that played before the main menu, was just a recap from the 1st game.. And there I was sitting and watching it each start up, thinking that those will be all the bosses I will face later in the game. I never finished it on my PS1. Nor did I play the 1st game on that system. But boy was it a fun game game, though my inexperience in gaming was giving me trouble, esp. during the Sandman boss fight.
Edit: And to explain why I still didn't get the intro despite the game saying: ''Previously on Spider-Man. And now Spider-Man 2.'' Let's just say that my English was as good to know what New Game / Load Game / Save Game & Exit means.
Same here, man! I didn't even go as far as thinking it was bosses I'd fight in the game, I just thought it was a cool clip, like a demo or something that played in the beginning. My english wasn't a big deal either and I was just a naïve kid lol

in the recent Spiderman games they pictured blackcat as a criminal but here she is a super hero that helps spidey fighting other enemies 🐸
That's what I liked about the old games, because in the comics she's a supporting character, not a villain

i played spider man 2000 so much as a kid and i never got my hands on this copy because i got a ps2 and went straight to spiderman 2 which was much different compared to the first two hits on ps1.

WH250398 Did you ever read the first Spidey comics? He had webs under his arms for years, but soon it was dropped. Some artists still draw him with them, though.

Did this game have the seperate game made comic covers for each section of the game? I remember the first one did where there was a bank heist section, scorpion and running from the cops section, rhino section, venom section, a mysterio section, doc ock and carnage section.

Those are the Dreamcast and PC cutscenes (better graphics than PS1)

when it comes to that problem of Peter Parkers about getting hated no matter what by the public

but i gotta admit in this game with new abilties with a web ball, web fists, and wed shield, kinda looks like it makes up a little more.

Even the prologue they look nothing like they did in the first game XD
The intro look different because those are the cutscenes from the Dreamcast and PC versions of Spiderman 1.

Why is this widescreen on the ps1 lol
I was using an emulator to run the game, back then I preferred a widescreen resolution, even if it was stretched.
