"E to shoot lasers" was my favorite bit of the tutorial. It's perfect for getting you 1000% into the life and acrobatics of a cute little spider, then BOOM! Lazers.
Oh this is *fantastic!* The webswinging physics looks fun, the little insect bois are adorable, and the bizarre, slightly outrageous world of Laser-eye spiders and Mech-ants is amazing!
Tom is not only the new King of the Cogs (nobody tell Alsmiffy) but 7:09 and the friendly Ant dialogue marks the first of many Tom edits! _(Wishes of a speedy recovery, Josh)_ Also, it is just ridiculous how excellent this game looks, and I instantly have to check it out now, but still look forward to the continued adventures with Mecha-Ant, Mothra, & boyfriend Jeff!
I fell in love with Portia after watching an Attenborough BBC doc years ago. I think I remember him saying something like "The most impressive hunters I've seen barring the big cats." They're the cleverest and cutest little critters in the world. I recently read Adrian Tchaikovsky's _Children Of Time_ and my love was cemented and shared. @@DjDolHaus86 I'm not generally a fan of anything that has more than four legs or less than two but that just means they have to impress me that much more. Honey bees and jumping spiders are right up there with cats, dogs, horses and sheep imo. Just God sent S tier stuff.
Given how Jeff was flaring his arms and his colorful bits during the dance I'm like 80% sure he was bringing you back to his web to dick you down, then again spiders can shoot lasers in this world so maybe the dances are more casual.
Who is going to tell him that the jumping spider "dance" they do here is actually, uh... let's say "the beginning of the mating ritual", yeah. No points for guessing what that spider is saying five seconds in.

fun fact the spiders here are two peacock spiders the one you play is a female and the male is the really colourful one! also that little dance at the start is something they do in real life and they are tiny little jumping spiders native here in Australia they are also completely harmless.

Peacock Spiders! Admittedly, one of the cuter spiders out there. Known for their bright colors (well, on the guys, at least) and adorable dance moves.
