THE SIGNIFICANCE OF YOUR FATHER'S NAME.

  • Your Father's Name, you got it from your father. It was all he had to give so its yours to use and cherish for as long as you may live. If you ever loose the watch he gave you, it can always be eplaced but a black mark on your name can never be erased. It was clean the day you took it and worthy name to bear. When he got it from his father, the was no dishonor there so make sure you guard it wisely after all is said and done because you will be glad the name is spotless, when you give it to your son and daughter.

My mother brought us up alone but she made sure we visited our dad. She used his name and I use his name too despite the fact that my dad did not even pay our school fees. So I totally agree with you. Every child deserves to have a relationship with their father.

True.i grew up without a father. In fact I have never bothered to know who my father was...because of this,I found myself living with different people who helped me with nothing but took advantage of me...they made me work like their slave.Depression nearly killed me,but I thank God that I (somehow)made it.

Good thing is that German law forbids Mothers to amend the Biological Father's name even after divorce. In kenya it is a mess as you clearly said. Many Children suffer from identity crisis.

That’s sad. You can talk to him if he want to see the kid or not if you feel like it. The child will grow & see for themselves how the dad is like, that way the child will never be brainwashed that ulimficha babake. I know it’s hard.
