    Singularity
    Fate has escaped
Tell me what have we become
    Break another chain
    How long before I’m undone
    Frailty, frailty lost inside
    Wake, unafraid
A new day, a new time is here
    Worlds fade away
I’ll laugh while they all disappear
    Frailty, frailty lost inside
    Violent delights
    Growing inside
    Show me a sign
    Let me know you’re alive
    What have we done
It’s the end of your age
    I have begun
    Wake, unafraid
A new day, a new time is here
    Worlds fade away
I’ll laugh while they all disappear
    Frailty, frailty
    These are the final hours
These are the final hours now
    Watching it all burn down
    These are the final hours
These are the final hours now
    Watching it all burn down
    Show me a sign
    Let me know you’re alive
    What have we done
    What have we done
    What have we done
    I have begun

How can this fucking incredible band be so fucking underrated?? Their music leaves me speechless and no words can describe how this band and their beautiful music makes me feel so much. Hura Mystic amazing live. I've seen them twice, they are super cinematic. The first time they had a giant furnace in stage for feed the machine and the second time they had a Masked man chase them and drag them off stage while the stage faced in to black and white. They also had their faces painted to look like comic book drawings to promote their graphic novel. Great band. So interesting.

Really love the build-up in this one. The piano is a welcome addition as well; it stands out in the best way. The radio-like effect with the person talking feels like a callback to End of Silence. Also has a very cinematic feel to it, like many of the songs in this album.

    @Fazeshyft Před 5 lety +5

I've heard reviews of the album describing this song as nonsensical and having no relation to the album. While Gone may not have as cohesive a theme as past Red albums (cue disagreement), this song is a wonderfully neat bow on the package. It conveys the finality as your existence is snuffed out. You can't watch the light that has yet to reach you, you can't know the moment the void will swallow your world, but you know it's coming. You're beyond care, beyond grief, beyond reason. There is only madness. All you can do is laugh until there is silence. God, I love this track!

Andrew Roper yeah I agree with that list. I'm still on the edge of whether I'd switch gone and innocence and instinct, but yeah good list

The only reason why I put Gone before Innocence and Instinct is because I have more relatability with Gone than Innocence and Instinct. Granted, I love Innocence and Instinct, and I love the songs Fight Inside, Take It All Away, and Never Be the Same, (among others) I just wasn't able to get into songs like Overtake You, Out From Under, and Death Of Me as much. Gone, I'm able to get into each and every song.
      Just my analysis.

My best guess at lyrics with the speaking parts.
    Fate has escaped
Tell me what have we become
    Break another chain
    How long before I’m undone
    Frailty, frailty lost inside
    Wake, unafraid
A new day, a new time is here
    Worlds fade away
I’ll laugh while they all disappear
    Frailty, frailty lost inside
    Violent delights
    Growing inside
    Show me a sign
    Let me know you’re alive
    What have we done
It’s the end of your age
    I have begun
    Wake, unafraid
A new day, a new time is here
    Worlds fade away
I’ll laugh while they all disappear
    Frailty, frailty
    Show me a sign
    Let me know you’re alive
    What have we done
It’s the end of your age
    I have begun
    Wonder, horror, desire.
Remember, at the point of the singularity is nothing. As nothing begat everything. Pausing in the expanding, consuming things without a barrier or a border. It is dark, because it is the darkness. It is over, because it is the end. There is no sentry because none dare approach. There is no...
    These are the final hours
These are the final hours now
    Watching it all burn down
It has never been, and is all that ever was.
    These are the final hours
These are the final hours now
    Watching it all burn down
    Show me a sign
    Let me know you’re alive
    What have we done
    What have we done
    What have we done
    I have begun
And it is all that ever was. At the center remains the inner part of the answer, if you do not block yourself. There is no center, and there is no you. There is only madness. We are here now. We are here. We are...

one of the best songs on Gone but the line "these are the final hours" coupled with the rumors that this might be RED's last album does make you a bit uneasy... I hope it's not the case cause it's evident that they can still write great songs

I only question for calling of signs in this song because in John or Revelations of signs to be finished. Maybe it how us Christians response to hardships with these thought in mind. I would say God is on his thrown where every Christians prayer is heard and discerned if to the glory of him to assist and when to do so. The end will come, but by him where from this song to keep marching forward in your faith waiting in the second coming of Christ.

Una de las mejores canciones de este album, la senti como una mezcla de take it all away y falling sky pero con toques mas modernos, En pocas palabras una obra maestra, (en mi opinion) ojala y esta banda fuera mas conocida al igual que skillet.
