      I still prefer bobrow though. And i wonder, do people badmouth malin 14 yrs ago because he screams so much after every point like harimoto?

      I like this guy as much as Bobrow because of his Brittish accent and because he doesn't comment like a typical sports anouncer with too much technical detail. Robert at 66.

      Dont know his name, but he is on a number of TT matches like Bobrow, only I think more of the matches during the 2,000's/2010's. I like detail because I play, and then sometimes I DON'T, I like his simplicity, the accent, his enthusiasm, in like in Bobrows. Some of his slang/isms.."That shot was an absolute cracker!" "Ma Lin..the magician!" " that was a ripping backhand!" stuff like that..LOL!!

    It's always nice to watch Timo making suffer chinese players, in this case, the key was don't allow Ma Lin attack easily with his forehand from third set till the final

    • @sebribo1873
      @sebribo1873 Před 8 měsíci +1

      not allowing Ma Lin to attack (with FH) on his serve is not the easiest task on earth. However, boll much improved quality of his receives during the match.
      Nowadays, chinese players dont have such obvious weaknesses anymore. Ryu Seung Ming was even more extreme in this regard.

    with Dima and Qiu at present or at their respective peaks, GER probably would have won this final. However, Ma Long, Fan Zhendong and Wang Chuqin are much better than China from the 2004 to 2012 era.
