Homeward Bound is a song that means so much to me. It is a lullaby each of my kids have heard me sing to them while they were young. But it reminds me that I wonât get to sing this to them forever. These moments are precious. One day, they will spread their wings and leave the nest. They will make their own decisions, have plenty of successes and plenty of failures. Through all the ups and downs of life, my hope is that my children know there will always be a place to call home in the hearts of their parents.

Sad though because my husband is 86 and is very close to taking that "Homeward Bound" journey. God has been good to us and has given us an extra Spring and Summer after a, let's say, cancelled "journey" last January.

The way it is presented in this video is so quiet and gentle, which makes that return home something to be looked forward to, rather than dreaded. I listen to it daily, just as a reminder of good things ahead.

This is a talent way too wholesome for AGT. Theyâve spread their mission, and connected with so many people through what theyâve done, in so much better a way than on such a public, and honestly over glorified stage as AGT. That much popularity may completely derail the work theyâve done, and take away the meaning that it has for so many people.
Since I can't sing myself, I've always wondered what emotions you feel inside as you're singing songs as beautiful as this one? I've always been thankful to God that eventhough I can't sing, he has given me the love for all genres of music.
I tear up yet smile when I hear beautiful songs such as this one.
The emotions singing it are so special but pretty similar to the emotions of listening to a song that you just feel a connection to. We are glad you have that love of music and that you listen to our music!

Thank you for the beautiful rendition of this song. It has had a special meaning in my life for many years. I first heard this song in high school when my mom was fighting cancer. I will never forget playing the song for her and the feeling that filled the room. Tears filled her eyes. Today as I listened to your version I gained new understanding as to why. You have beautiful eyes. Some close ups with you looking straight through the lens.. ( Think of it as mirror. And practice it in a mirror. Have a conversation with yourself, get angry with your self or someone else) Repeat that exercise, looking deeply into a lens. But when you replay the video.
