Trevor job is safe, Mac is expendable if he isn't used this year
trevor better stay healthy im sure even if he struggles they might not pull him but I don't know why they'd trade for another pro bowl QB who was drafted in the same round to be their "backup"

The jags would not bench Lawrence it’s his job he is just there in case if Trevor gets hurt
If Trevor doesn’t play well this year or just doesn’t win enough games he will be out. This league doesn’t wait for anybody
@@Gmanski3 the jags are already in talks for a contract extension for Trevor and he was dealing with injuries last year the offensive line was bad Mac jones is not a mobile QB he can’t escape pressure like Trevor can he’s the backup because cj bethard is injury prone
@@Jacobeup22 all this is true, what’s also true is that Trevor is very mid. Turns the ball over and really only has a few memorable games as a guy who was supposed to be an All time great, I’m 100% sure that Mac will be a backup until Trevor is inevitably hurt or plays bad and whether Mac jones will be ready to shine when that happens is up to him
@@Gmanski3 I can tell you don’t watch the jaguars you just exposed yourself have you seen some of the throws he makes and his offensive line is bad that’s the reason he got hurt Mac jones would get hurt behind that line too at least Lawrence can escape the pressure he’s undefeated against josh Allen and Justin Herbert two guys people say are elite he outplayed them both times when he played him and he doesn’t have a true number one like a hill or Jefferson or a chase
Let's be honest, Trevor isn't that good. If you think Mac is there to just ride the bench your being naive
