I kinda feel bad for content creators being pushed to short form videos so badly. The revenue from them isn't a lot by any means compared to a long video. People with 10M views or more on a video shouldn't be getting a measly $5 from a Shorts, the Shorts take a similar amount of time as traditional videos and cost as much to produce...
@@RoadToPantheon Might not be that much faster. The editor has to watch the final cut's WIP repeatedly, and a short is… shorter, so they can save time there. But this dude has it rough, because he's filming very time consuming pastries and he only gets a short out of it. (Unless the short is an edit from a full video.) This short also has like a million cuts. Making five 60-sec. shorts might be much more work for this dude than a single 5-min. video… They're good for promotion though. I watch all shorts from my subscriptions feed, and I'm repeatedly pulled back to channels I had often left behind completely.

I love both jelly, tea and oranges; plus that's one of the earliest videos I've watched from him, and looking at the sheer translucency was amazing back then. I'm not that experienced with baking though, and I need to buy some tools. But that shiny jelly plagued my head for a while until I forgot it. And so it's quite depressing that I had to make this damn comment about it just to prove I'm not a bot to a random user. Now I just want to eat it again. I'm buying jelly tomorrow, just for this. And after eating the jelly hopefully I'll forget about the tart. I'll just have soda now, it's late (10.15 pm) and everything's closed.

I don’t absolutely agree, because a video short is 1 minute long maximum. So yes you make same content but the editing is really much faster.
