  • So first off I'll apologise for not using her married name, I wasn't sure about pronunciation, second, this is all Orangemen do, the fact that public pressure had the main lodge form an inquiry, says exactly how long this behaviour has been tolerated.

Iraq invasion proved that some country’s where less neutral than others Ireland showing that it has a strange concept of neutrality.

We were never neutral, simple as. We just fist have soldiers trained enough to fight. So leaving Shannon open was the next best thing

It's not reasonable to judge & condemn an entire people or culture from the actions of a few yobs, & Mclean has his own history of tribal yobbery I seem to recall

McLean came from a town where the black and tans killed most of the people in it, so I think he has every right to refuse to wear the poppy

@@irishwolfhound1448 Does that also give him every right to indoctrinate v. small children in paramilitary violence by staging photo-ops with kids wearing P-IRA military gear? (& which town did the B&T'S wipe out btw?).

@@Horizon344 do you live up north?
Because if the answer is no, then you know nothing of what went on up there. If kids were "indoctrinated" into the IRA, then that is exactly what happened with the UVF, UDR and any other loyalist paramilitaries that worked with the BA. I love how you believe only the Republicans could ever do such a thing, a typical answer from an "indoctrinated" anti Republican from the Republic, who has most likely listened to every word our pro-unionist government has ever said about the war up there
And I'm sure that was McCleans choice

I still don't see the connection as to why a song was written about the woman by the foreigners .
