Besides the track cracking and ratcheting, I think the Doo turboR is the winner this season. Man it just pulls and doesn't stop. Any update on getting a replacement boost sled from Ben at APS?

Having lived in Colorado back in the early 80's and knowing just what kind of snow you're dealing with, I'm simply amazed at the places these new sleds go!!! And yes, that 850R is a beast!!
Doo needs to go back to 7 tooth driver it will fix the ratchet issue

Oh man that makes me sick to my stomach thinking about crawling into that crack. Too claustrophobic (in certain situations) for that shit, kinda like the snow cave on the overnighter, no thanks. Looked like great snow today, but yep, some days we just lack motivation. Keep up the good work.
I’m wondering if this whole track ratcheting thing (most Experts including mine does it, but my Shredder doesn’t) and the problems a lot of guys are having with their chaincase isn’t a coincidence. I mean the drivers and driveshaft are the same other than the way it’s machined on the end with the splines and that snap ring for quick removal. I’m thinking these things go hand in hand with the issues. Or they’re just making the chaincases out of shitter material. That very well could be as well.
Love the tips Matt, you should do more. I’m a sledder and use your videos to try and better myself by watching how you ride. We have no clinics up in northern BC so it’s the closest I can get to lessons lol

Watching this when the little snow we had in the mountains is pretty much gone with several days of 10+ degrees and rain and the little that's left is pure ice or so thin you can dig down to dirt with a quick twitch of throttle makes me sad, and a little envious

Sledding everyday and getting too tired is a good problem I could only dream of having. My 2nd dream is the Northeast Coast, USA actually getting snow. Forecast Wed, 16C or 61F....looking at cutting my grass mid winter.😔

Tried my finger throttle for the first time this past weekend and loved it except I think my placement is off. Had whiskey throttle when I let off with my finger and the throttle caught the glove on my middle finger. That was sketchy

On the gps confusion, Saturday near revy my track in and track out were 90 meters out , My guess is with the chinese ballon crap over Canada they are throwing more deviation in the mix , I.ve never had that much difference in track. Just sayin

@@AustinJBurr This is probably common sense to you, but the 55 is gonna force you to become a better rider. The 63 allows us to kinda be lazy at times - I live in Rexburg and ride Island Park and the surrounding areas and I love my 63 on the days that I’m not feeling 100%. My buddies 55’s and 54’s are a lot of fun - you can feel the track speed in your arms but you definitely have to work harder and be more cautious about your line selection. All of that could be remedied with the turbo though - I dunno.
@@208SledHead a 155 will be a lot more fun on the flat but if you are going to be high marking you will want a 163. i have a buddy with a 174 and you have to have really deep snow to even have fun! that is probably why they quit making them

Hey Matt, someone is using your online ID including repeatedly offering me gifts to contact them But I did not have Telegram. Convinced it is you I finally contacted them and they offered me a MacBook air M2 if I would just pay the shipping of $160. I pointed out that there is no efficient way to have me pay the shipping and they never directly said so I assume they are fishing for collecting the shipping as a scam.
But what pisses me off is that they have co-opted your online ID including pics of you as thumbnails and they use your mountain graphic and your name.
Side note, the rock formation was awesome, and you are right, it would be an excellent place to camp summer or winter.
Also that deep frozen layer, depending on where it formed could lead to some massive slides. I saw Superior at Snowbird let go 100 meters across and a meter deep let go and kill a guy filming a run. A bunch of us had peeps prepared and ready to go. The mountain let go and we found the guy within 5 min and dug him out but the slide or it turning to cement on stopping killed him so be careful, pit more often, se what you find and if you can identify the faces most likely to let go a big one.
Pretty sure they added a 1 to his Instagram account and cloned his account, we need to get this fixed, I hate this stuff, Matt deserves better!

This happened to my Fiancé too, asked him to pay $167.80 for shipping for a macbook and a rock pal. Jake (my fiancé) asked them a few testing questions which they could not answer. (what your favorite lunch on the go is and how many days Jerry #1 lasted this season) They said they didn't understand what he was asking them, big red flag there.
I dug into their account and realized the gentleman above is right, they took your logos, pictures and symbols but added a "1" to your account name. It's sad that people prey on others like this, I was so stoked that "you" had contacted Jake like that, but was saddened to realize it was all a scam. Maybe you could mention this in an upcoming video so all of your subscribers are aware and don't feed into it!
Keep up the videos, I enjoy them as much as Jake does!
Lots of people having drive shaft/chaincase failures on g5s because of the new quick disconnect design, I'll be surprised if yours last much longer

TKI offers a retainer fix for this problem. BRPs idea was good but not panning out. Hopefully BRP will recognize this and resolve it.

Idk if it's different or for something else but up here in Alaska the heli ops set them up for the pilots for heli skiing drop zones.
