See here's the thing, he learned this quick point of views in Starcraft and something tells me that inside also League gives him criterias for a quick point of views such as:
1) Teammate's Topology and Status - means he checks wide information on his teammates on that area whether if its position can be doable or risky enough to play over. He then check over the status of his teammates if they can fight or not.
2) Reactions - he quickly does this to prevent any mediocre plays and whatsoever it takes a toll for him to understand the situation. (Refer to 1)
3) Intense Focus Level - Although it takes a toll on Faker, he can do much focus and create situations over their strategies and adapt it to a level they wanted.
How desperate the opponent had felt....
