Fury’s ending was so sad and traumatic which is the beauty of this film, it immerses you to a point where you form a bond to the characters like norman does and when they get killed it hits you so hard as if you know these characters like friends. When norman is being transported away the morning after, all the soldiers walking past the tank shows how that they were just another tank crew which just hits even deeper.

    • @AJ0223

To be honest I really didn't like the enemy soldier sparing Norman's life at the very end. I get what they were going for but I thought there's no chance that could have happened. Great fooken movie, but i wish they wrapped it up a bit differently

It was one of the best WW2 films of all time. Yes, there were technical inaccuracies that people like to point out, but overall it was brilliant. Your comment is spot on, and that is indeed what made it such a great movie. I have been in combat, and it is true that the one thing you remember is the people. The equipment fades, but the bonds never do. I cried at the end,.it hurt my heart to watch them die, even knowing it wasn't real lol. I do agree that the German soldier leaving Norman was a stretch,.especially being an SS unit. They should've left that out and just had him fall asleep But it isn't the end of the world, it really doesn't take away from every little detail put into that movie that just blew.my mind.

This has got to be the greatest story of War Heroes ever made. Fury is Monumental. If you haven't seen it yet, now is the time. Pitt, LeBouf, Lerman, Peña, Bernthal, along w/the rest of the cast gave it a memorable performance. Thank You, David Ayer for bringing this story to the screen & bring it to life.
I wonder what else can top this movie...it will be a long while until a contender comes along. 👍

Everything was as the interviewer depicted what happens in the movie. I can't figure out why some people hate on this film. It's such a good one. I guess some people said it wasn't historically accurate. Rather than enjoying the movie for what it is they nit pick and ruin it for themselves. This was entertaining, really immersive and thought provoking not to mention that it's directed excellently. Also it can't be that inaccurate. It was ww2 and people were slaughtered and died in droves.

To me, over and above the excellent story and superb cast, the finest point was the key inclusion of the American soldiers’ hatred for the SS, something no other movie has ever highlighted.
The gruesome brutality of the SS can never be over-stated, and if a tank crew had come ashore at Normandy, they would’ve seen ample evidence of that brutality.

Marar Patrunjelovici If you really think about it though, there were moments all throughout the war where the German soldiers showed similar acts of chivalry toward the allied soldiers. One such moment that comes to mind is when the German ace Franz Stigler was on patrol in his Bf 109 and came across a heavily damaged/crippled B-17. He had every opportunity to shoot the bomber down and knew that this bomber was returning home after dropping its payload onto German targets. However, he didn't shoot it down. Instead, he flew escort for it and saw it safely out of German controlled airspace. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Brown_and_Franz_Stigler_incident. So its not so far fetched to think that the German who found him would spare him. Also, if you were paying attention, you'll notice that it wasn't an adult who found him, it was a kid who seemed to understand all too well that Norman was beaten, scared, and completely exhausted after going through the hell that he had just gone through.

He who loves the world does not love the Father.
For all that is in the world is the lust of the flesh,
the lust of the eyes, and the lust of possessions,
Is not of the Father, but of the world.
    - The world is their lust for money -
But he who does the will of God abides forever.
    - In eternity -
    .

You look at Dave. Then Brad. Then feel bad for Dave. But then realize he’s more talented than Brad. Then you feel bad for Brad. ;)

Good film exept the end battle....so unrealistic! German infantry tactics vs tanks weren’t just running around it 😂

Yet the movie was shit. Good action scenes but the actual director did a real example on how not to tell a story and build a credible storie. The end was a real plot destroyer.

At least the director could spell ‘story’ correctly.
By the way, if you saw the movie, and you saw the interviews you’d know the crew had come ashore at Normandy, their fellow crews had been killed at an alarming rate, they were mentally and physically exhausted and they were at the end of their tether.
All of them, including Norman, saw what a toll the war was taking on them.
If you don’t believe troops on both sides didn’t make suicidal sacrifices, you’re an idiot.
