One time, one of the amusement park ride workers didn’t fasten my buckle thingy, so I had to hang on to the little guarders that help you not fall off. It was a swinging ride, right above the ocean almost. I can’t swim.

The park attendants at movie world don't tighten the ride things, you're expected to tighten them yourself. No one's gotten hurt yet. I'm scared.
The buckle is not what actually keep you safe, it's the guarders themselves. The belt is usually there just to make you feel safe.

As a Themepark Enthusiast, this video is very accurate (except for Goliath turning into a bomb)
For food I recommend a dining pass for some foods to be free if you plan on going multiple times a season, this sometimes can be extended from a season pass, which after 2 or 3 visits makes the money spent worth it. (Most of the time)
