  • The best way to reduce the risks is to make sure everyone in the vehicle is effectively restrained. This video uses test footage of what happens during crashes to show how to get the most from occupant restraints. For example, it shows how to buckle up properly and why you should sit back from the steering wheel and airbag.

These videos are the type of videos I binge watch and when I sit in a car while the person is driving, I'm more self conscious and worried. I mean, a car crash could happen at any moment while driving... *any moment*

39 seconds in and I’ve seen the exact toy placement on another crash test
(Edit) they showed it, my suspensions were confirmed

7:30)) this car isn't an excellent example of a car where a child can't sit in the back seat. This is a porsche 928, which has back seats.

some cars will disable the airbags if the weight is lower than a average adult and some have a switch to disable them

Usually the newer cars have them, but you should use the passanger airbag switch when you have a child in the front. Just have a look in the car manual.

@@VOLTRONDEFENDER4440 Yes the older ones didn't have it and becouse of that you couldn't have a child seat in the front. I remember an older volkswagen group car in it's first years of manufacturing it sead in the manual you need to go to the dealership to have them disable the airbag and you whould have a big sticker on the dash saying that the passanger airbag is disabled and you should go to a dealership to reactivate it.
