He IS a time traveler (kinda)! Zhuge Liang (AKA Kongming) was the greatest tactician of the 3 Kingdoms Period, a great war in ancient China. In the show, he gets teleported to modern Japan and is infatuated with the voice of a singer, Eiko. He then becomes her agent and must use his skills as a tactician to make her a superstar. It’s incredible!
The guy is actually a historical figure. His name is "Zhuge Liang", alter name "Kong Ming". He's from an era in China post Han Dynasty - the era is called "Three Kingdom". And... You're not wrong...you can say he's a Time Traveller... It's pretty close.
In the books writen in Sima era he is very overestimated though, just to make Sima Yi look Intelligent as possible that he fought against Zhuge Liang, they were smart, but not "meta" changers
@@Requimpact A lot of the stuff in those books is hearsay. That's why it is "exaggerated". Same thing about Zhuge Liang's wife. The show even talks about it lol.
@@Requimpact To be fair, I am pretty sure a lot of things in history become exaggerated over time to the point of pop culture mythology. George Washington chopping down a cherry tree is probably more fiction than some events around Zhuge Liang and company.
Funnily enough, the OP, while not explicitly showing anything about the show, fits the vibe of the show perfectly. The show has so many moving parts and it moves FAST, it hops genres when it feels like it, the animation is both amazing and average at the same time, and the music is catchy as hell. The first episode even by itself is a good 24 minutes and you don't need to keep going.

And no - Zhuge is this anime, is not a DJ, more like a producer to a that main girl of that anime - and how trying to make her famous. Ending - is also banger, and cover to other old pop-song of 90's.
I love the song here is the song "bulikiraly" called in Hungary, and its processing ... Just as the protagonist wears the Hungarian flag on her sweater in one part ... Hi form Hungary!
The title in its original language means sth like "Party guy/goer Kong Ming", and to my surprise, the translation is actually very well done, to me it's even better than the original one lol
i watched the first episode after this video and it looks really good! there is a lot of music in it if your into that, kinda like a Music Ganbatte similar like Hikaru no Go with the Mentor type and the protagonist who wants to make it big
It's on Japanese Netflix so it may eventually make it's way over to US once the show is finished. You know how Netflix is doing lately with their canceling of upcoming shows though (mostly animations) so I am not sure. But the show is really fun. Has catchy music and really fun/cute/interesting characters. I was suggested by a friend a while back and immediately binged the first 3 eps lol. It just finished ep. 6 now so maybe once it is finished, it might get a US Netflix reveal for you. Also the ending song is really good, too. Don't have to react to it but I suggest checking it out.
