Birds of Madagascar

A month-long trip to Madagascar in October 2022 to the Masoala peninsula, Andasibe, Ranomafana, Ifaty and Kirindy. All five endemic families seen including the Cuckoo Roller, Asities, Mesites, Ground-rollers and Malagasy Warblers.

How did you see the broad billed roller. Was it a vagrant?

@@mudgedthey (= the nominate) are breeding in Madagascar and migrate to Africa outside the breeding season.
