If you cant afford to go to lake Como then go somewhere else! Rampant tourism is wreaking the place and destroying the authenticity of the popular with hoards of cheap tourists who offer nothing but arrogant entitled behaviour, stupid questions, poor planning and bad manners. Get off the well worn Rick Steves path and try some of the other villages for a more authentic experience while giving the locals a break!
