There are two big differences when using adjectives in Spanish:
- The adjectives are usually placed after the nouns
- The adjectives have to match gender and plurality of the nouns

Tengo un coche nuevo - I have a new car
Tengo una casa nueva - I have a new house
La casa es muy grande - the house is very big.

Hombre bueno pero buena amiga... So it can go either way?
Yes, this one is interested because when this adjective comes before a masculine subject, it’s actually ‘buen’.
For example: él es un buen hombre (he’s a good man).
But you can change the order and it becomes bueno when used after.
