If torres and villa would have started in all of the games, things would have been different for Spain. I don't know what made him start with one striker. No matter how bad villa and Torres form were, it didn't matter because they deliver in world cups. They are experienced muche more than diego Costa. It was a bad move the coach. I was really disappointed

Spain were instructed to create a white kit on short notice because they would not be allowed to wear any dark colours against the Netherlands and the kits used against Chile and Australia are their home and away kits.

still makes no sense. as the netherlands played in blue, spain could still have used their traditional jersey without creating ambiguity for the referee. unlike in 1994, their 2014 white kit was atrocious. and the 2018 one even worse

David villa should have played against holland and chile. Doesn't matter what ever the outcome of the game would have been. Bt he was far better than costa as david villa delivers every time on big occasions. Poor selection by the spanish coach under whom team won the 2010 WC.
Also Villa had better understanding how to play with those guys and with this system, unlike Costa.
