I loved Gary V (that's what everyone calls him) growing up. His was the voice of my generation. The dude is 53 years old now (2017) and he has been established since the 80s. He is very religious (I don't hold that against him) so his songs are always so pure and clean and thoughtful. I love watching you, btw. You remind me of my brother and I miss him a lot.
I think he writes his songs. Those songs are his signature songs.

Gary V is actually what he’s called in his prime years. Been singing since the 80s I believe but he doesn’t look like he’s ageing. I’m younger than he is but about couple decades but he looks younger than I am.
I highly recommend "take me out of the dark", but prepare tissue cause it's really emotional and inspirational song.
Gary was one of the 3 judges in Your Face Sounds Familiar kids, who went on leave due to 2 major health issues. But I think he came back during the finals when tnt boys performed bang bang.

Actually Gary V was already a huge star, collecting platinum record awards, sold out concerts when Regine was just starting her professional career. Gary is a household name here coz his first song were usually sang in weddings and the 2nd song in funerals.

i am a poor singer based on Filipino standard. but when l sang in a team building session in front of my former bosses from sydney they praised my singing up high to the clouds. just sharing it, no boasting intended.
