Next day Maneybhanjan by car.r having food (noodle soup, milk ), sightseeing . Had quiescent sleep after having veg thali for dinner. -TUMLING, kalapokhri (01/02/2018) - Had tea for breakfast and departed from hotel. Booked tickets for Singalila National park. Started trekking. Reached sandakphu checked into a beautiful large cozy wooden dormitory. Had good sleep. VISIT SINGALILA NATIONAL PARK & TREKKING TO GAIRIBAS-KAYAKATTA-KALAPOKHRI Had a very chilly wake-up call. Had a magnificient view of sun rise, Kanchenjungha range of mountains and full moon. Departed for Kalapokhri Entered Singalila National Park and showed our tickets. Took the jungle road. The road runs deep through the jungle. Enthralling experience. . Departed at It was a very tough trail with a very steep ascent of around 60° to 70° for about 2kms up to Kayakatta(21kms). At Kayakatta we took a rest and reunited with our trek group and started walking towards Kalapokhri. Took a glance at the kalapokhri black water pond as pokhri stands for the pond. Checked into Singalila lodge. Had Maggi for snacks. Had the privilege of warming ourselves with coal and wood charcoal furnace. Had khichri, papad, onion, pickle, and omelet for dinner. Had an appetite satisfying, lumpsum dinner. KALAPOKHRI TO SANDAKPHU and went out for witnessing the enthralling view of sunrise on one side and Sandakphu on the other side. Had tea for breakfast and departed for Sandakphu. Took many deadly and truly challenging shortcuts that drained almost every bit of our energy. Reached Sandakphu( mountain of poisonous plants ) Had a very clear and jaw-dropping v😊😊 ..............................................................
