We dodged a bullet, unlike those in Haiti, Cuba and the Bahamas, St. Augustine, Charleston, and many other places in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.

I went through 2 typhoons and a hurricane in the 70's. They are something to behold. Thank you for bringing back memories. I'm glad you are OK. You are very timely, too. Good job. Thumbs up!

Thanks for share this video Robert, we was scared since yesterday, when we saw the news, about how big this hurricane is, you know, we was praying for our Miami and all Florida Brothers, from here Bay Area, San Francisco CA. I hope there is not too many deaths, injuries and damage places like Haiti, Cuba and the Bahamas just doesn't need any more grief

Very nice and brave of you to give us a tour of your city, even during an impending storm!!! At one point in the video, I thought it would have been wiser for you to stay at home, but then things looked a bit better! :)
We (in India) have much heavier rainfall than this (with and without cyclones) at times during the monsoon period. And we too have our share of nut-jobs who, despite warnings, venture out into the stormy sea when they have no business to, or stand on slippery rock-faces to take a selfie, and more often than not, they lose their lives. Its sad.
Anyway, am glad that all is almost well where you are. Thank you once again for a great video and looking forward to 'regular programming' next week! hehe :D
We had typhoons where I came from and it was actually fun running around the rain and wind. Using fallen banana tress as make shift rafts..lol

I live in Palm Beach County (Loxahatchee). We were lucky like you. It brushed by us last night. We never lost power. We were prepared for the worst, but hoped for the best. Thank God we came out of it okay.

I live in Oregon. and to actually see a regular guy showing pictures is wonderful. we get waves like this on the Oregon Coast. but not hurricanes. My brother lived in the Key Biscayne/ Miami area but never got to visit. I love to travel and I have subscribed to your channel looking forward to seeing more cool videos from you.

The blinker relay was clicking too fast. Usually it happens when one or more of the blinker light bulbs burn out. I noticed it in your video and decided to mention this in my reply. Some cops will use this as a reason to pull you over. Sorry. I guess I was wrong.

We don't worry much about it. Direct hits are rare.

soflo got lucky,further north not so much,but even Daytona didn't get hit that bad,could of been much worse,let's see how Jacksonville does,a lot of low lying areas,stay safe😀

Great video mate just off interest what would a house like yours be worth in Miami as property prices are very high in Australia would be interesting to know.
I live in an average size 4 bedroom house 1 hour nth of Sydney in an area known as the central coast. My house is nothing special and cost $430.000 Australian dollars which is about $310.000 American dollars.
That depends vastly on the location in Miami.
Check out Zillow.com for house listings and values. Hopefully you'll be able to see it outside of the USA.
I suppose mine is in the mid 300k by now. It is very expensive to live here too.
