At times of great stress I paint in the bathtub in candlelight. I tape watercolor paper to the wall and just play. Because the light is dim I really don’t know what Im actually painting. I come back in the morning when its dry for the surprise. Often i will use this as the first layer of an intuitive painting. Fun!

Hello! I always 💕listening to you talk while watching you make art. It’s soothing late at night before bedtime. As I’m watching videos, I begin to think about the next fun thing: reading a book.
Well, I do shower thinking as you suggested. The actual shower routine is soooo boring, my mind wanders. My husband told me he sometimes hears me laughing in there. Yes, I’m recalling something funny, very often something funny I said or did. It’s very, VERY important to laugh rather than be embarrassed by some goofy thing, like amazing bedhead. Every morning, it’s wild in a totally different way! I’m laughing now. 🤪
