I take the chicken out and do that seperate, then microwave the bun by itself for about 20 seconds or so...
Sometimes wrapping things like that in a damp paper towel when microwaving makes the bread come out nicer.

Love steak ummm so darn good with red/green peppers onions try BBQ sauce

Maybe heat the bread separate.
That's what I was fixing to say. When I cook these or the chicken parmesan sandwiches from Walmart, I disassemble them, cook the chicken for the suggested cooking time and then the bread for maybe 15-30 seconds depending on the bread.
Maybe rotating the plate or food halfway through cooking/heating would help keep the bread soft.
A rubbery bun is never what you want to bite into.
