@@martythom2618 I spent my early 80's getting my metal education in Virginia Beach while in the Navy. I got to watch Scott Travis from Judas Priest begin his career in a band called Hooker. From there he was drafted by Racer X, and then on to JP. We used to make fun of Leather Wolf when they first formed as they had the attitude but not the chops at the time. Oh I do miss "tha drinkin days" as we lovingly call them.
Cool! I noticed that you use an explorer type guitar. Is it a home build? Right now I'm doing a copy of a 58 Korina Explorer or trying to recreate one as close as possible. Got the body and neck from a company called Precision Guitars out of Vancouver. Can't wait till its finished! Marty
@@borgonianevolution I was totally in to the metal scene and the hairbands of the 80´s. Went to Def Leppard on the Pyromania Tour and saw Maiden on the Beast Tour & Priest on Screaming Fo Vengeance :-))
@@martythom2618 My first bands were blue Oyster cult and Ozzy at an airport where we jumped the fence to get in. My second was a private Bon Jovi show in a bar my sister snuck me in to when I was 14. It was all downhill from there hahaha
