REVIEW: UMAREX NoToS CRK, part 2

- This is the 2nd installment of me reviewing/testing my new Umarex NoToS CRK in 22 cal. I test 3 more pellets in this video as the main focus is to test what projectiles are accurate in the Carbine. There is also a plinking and pesting session.
I am finally convinced of the capabilities of the Notos after your captivating video. Umarex and all websites urgently need to change the specification of the FPE. A 12-13 FPE was listed with the announcement. Practice clearly gives us a different picture a year later. Nice introduction to this channel.
Not 100% sure but, I think i heard that the gun was supposed to be released more than a year ago. And with Covid, there was tons of issues then. So i wonder if 12-13 FPE was or if they were initially trying to release it more as a pistol or not. Just don't know but I could find out easy enough. I even bet the gun can still be turned down to that FPE. But, today's new videos on the NoToS for sure seems to have the same FPS/FPE output as i do. 780 fps then down into the 760'S+. And everyone else is getting 20 shots on a fill just like I am so, thats even better news noting the gun is consistent from person to person.
@@Tofazfou You are undoubtedly right that with the separately purchased pistol grips it is a no-go as a pistol in many parts of the world. Currently only available from us on two websites at 441 dollars (21% VAT included), too pricey.

On the back of the mags are two grub screws one is to lock the Philips screw in that holds the cover the other is for the detent that keeps the cover from moving around. If you play around with those you can get the mag to cycle smoothly.

I agree with everything you said in your video!! I absolutely love mine and my magic pellet is the Hades. I can’t get enough of this gun and for the price it only makes it that much better. I switched over to a Carm single shot loader , was having issues with my magazine and didn’t care for the single shot loader from factory. I’m having so much fun shooting out to 62 yards so far pesting not a problem at all !! Thanks for another great video, keep ‘em coming. Thumbs up !!
Thank you so much RP. Glad you get it! This gun definitely shoots a host of pellets accurately but, i have to agree with you, HADES is my #1 Choice. The Hades is the best of both worlds between a dome and a HP! And I got plenty of them too😁

I set my Diana Bandit up similar to this and made my grandsons favorite airgun ever. He grabs it every time we go out hunting. Umarex made a lot of fun for smaller hunters right there!👍💯
They really did. I love hearing that the KIDS have a aigun. And that its his favorite. Thats how memories are made right there. GREAT MEMORIES! And you hit the nail on the head in what you said about Umarex making fun with NoTos for smaller hunters!

I picked up a No Toes as well and as soon as the weather breaks.
The Notos is definately a cousin of the Artemis PP750
So I think there was definately a Umarex/Snow Peak collaboration going on.

I've got one these bought it about 4-5 weeks ago. Really enjoy it. The trigger is NOT adjustable regardless of what Umarex says in the manual. Turning that screw did nothing for me. I went a different way for optics on mine. I put a Monstrum Tactical 1.5X prism scope on mine. Perfect for plinking and close range pesting.
I'll look into my triggers adjustability. I heard you have to adjust with 1/8-1/4 turns at a time OR, it will become firm again. But glad your liking it overall

Oh for sure it will on a windy day shooting pellets. But it does have the downright accuracy so if the shooter does their part, theres no way they could miss

Poly mag shorts work pretty well so far. My furthest pest shots are a pigeon at 40ish yds and a little red "pine" squirrel at 39yds.
I'm going to try a lightweight NSA slug I have next. I think they are the 17.5gr .2165dia hollow points. I'd need to look again, but I think those are it. Might need to use the single shot tray?

Oh yeah, I remember YA! Thanks for the Kudos on the video. I do have some PolyMags which i later found at home but i don't have shorts. So, a polymag test is in the near future. I have also shot slugs in mine but only in the garage while doing chrony work. IIRC, it was 22 gr slugs travelling the mid 600 FPS! Like 660 fps or so! Not bad atall!
Fantastic video. I completely agree. Ive had 3 days to shoot my Notos now and im blown away. Im getting the same accuracy (maybe more) as my Armada out to 94 yards. The trigger needs a little love, and I also have the same issue with the mags. The first and last rounds are finicky but if you just use your right pointer finger to apply very light pressure to the mag from the right side of the gun, (pushing left) it aligns and the pellet goes in without issue. Thats how mine is anyway. It appears the stub on the back of the mag (mag stop?) isnt actually touching the gun when the probe is through the mag and a pellet is in the breach. So if your mag is pulled in position by the magnet, it hugs that mag stop tight to the gun, and misaligns the mag and breach. Well thats what appears to happen anyway. So I just apply slight pressure on the mag pushing it back “out” of the gun ever so slightly and the rounds feed fine. It took me a bit to get to that tho. I was confused and frustrated. I think ill add a dab of hot glue to the stub on the back of the mag, then trim it to be only slightly larger than the original. So that it makes contact with the gun a little sooner, aligning the pellets and mag. Anyway, fantastic video. I also fully recommend the Notos to anyone.
If you can fold the stock with one push button and remove the stock with one push button, bump the air tank a little bit to make 50 consistent shots and a 10 shots magazine. The sale would fly over the roof for sure. I just got mine today great Airgun. Thanks for the review 👋🙂👍

Thanks Brad. Appreciate it brotha! Got a question for ya. Can you answer why the number 12+ FPE comes up for some people when they are looking at the NoTos? Getting a few comments that the gun was supposed to be 12-13 FPE and now they are hearing 20 FPE from current CZcamsRS doing reviews. Thanx brotha!
Try a Daisy .22 cal HP pellet. I think they are the base pellet for the Red Fire but not sure. They really expand fast and make a mess of small game and pest birds. Very accurate, consistent, and extremely affordable. My personal favorite pesting/hunting pellet above all others in .22 in all my airguns PCP or otherwise. Make a heck of a “POP” when they hit. @@Tofazfou the .177 are different then the .22 Daisy hollow points but imo the .22 are where it’s at! I have pout wax in the deep V shaped hollow point on the .22 pellet and the results were definitely noticeable on expansion. The Iguana Hunter in FL Erlis tried the ones I sent him on one of his videos and witness the hydraulic effect it had on the HP design. Orion the iguana hunter I believe is his channel. Very good guy.

I just got to see your video. Awesome airgun. I have the same with some pellets don’t go out of the mag smooth in to the barrel. And 9 out of ten times you see it in your shot. I just order a aftermarket magazine. So I hope this solve the issue. Did you figured it out what the problem was?

I bought it new off eBay. It's a 6000 PSI regulator btw

@@airgunner0335you can get them from a few places. air tanks plus (regman 2.0) is one and eBay is another. They are adjustable up to 6000 psi output (to the gun). They are awesome. Lethal Air also sells an online regulator also. Check em out
