- 超コンパクト・軽量で、ここまで量感たっぷりなピアノを音を出せるのにはびっくりですね。鍵盤表面の加工も象牙調・黒檀調と手触りが良く、音も良いので、とうとう買ってしまいました。

良いところがたくさんあるS1100ですが、是非、買う前に試しに弾いてみてください。
クラッシックピアノを弾かれる方は、鍵盤の支点が手前にあるので、鍵盤の奥側が下りにくいので違和感を感じるかもしれません。
Bluetoothを使ったアプリ"Chordana Play for Piano"の設定は、説明書を読んでも分かりにくかったです。買った人が迷わないようにきちんと書いて欲しいと思います。

Oh, I do have a question, does the piano's keys feel balance? Like, is there no weight difference between the black and white keys?
There is no difference in weight between the black and white keys of the piano. I think the keyboard is well balanced.

Thank you! This recording was recorded with ZOOM's L-12 via the S1100's LINE OUT. Many of the sounds in this video use "Grand Piano Concert" with the default settings☺
はじめまして。ピアノほぼ初心者です😅このピアノが欲しいなと思っています。ハード的なことをお聞きしたいのですが、このピアノで弾き語りをしている動画を音を出さずに録画することは可能ですか？その場合、どのような機器や配線があればいいでしょうか？住宅事情で音を出すことが難しく、しばらくはウクレレをやっていたのですが苦情となり電子系の楽器で弾き語りをしたいと思っています。ご回答いただけたら嬉しいです😀

I'm really undecided - I think I prefer the action of teh casio and some of teh sounds. I tried both this morning ,thinking I would come to a final decision. There were a couple of notes in the middle of the keyboard of teh casio that a strange resonance but I wasn't sure if it was just the way the sound was filtering through the slits or rebounding off the surface that was directly in front of it. The yamaha action was heavier and I thought the sounds of the piano were a bit one dimensional. Not all of the casio sounds were great but I had teh feeling that even though the travel of the keys is shorter that the yamaha's, I was somehow able to dig a lot more into the tone - this was(in my opinion) lacking in the yamaha..Any thoughts? I should also add that I really wanted tp prefer the yamaha - I always thought casio products were kind of uncool but they've obviously done their homework
Like you, I really worry about choosing an electronic piano that I like (I've been worrying about it for over 30 years).
One way to think about it is in what situations you play the instrument. Recent Casio electronic pianos have good speakers and produce a rich sound, so I think they are suitable for indoor and solo pianos. On the other hand, the Yamaha has a heavy key and emphasizes the overtones a little, but the sound passes through the ensemble, so I would choose the Yamaha when matching with the band.
Lastly, trust your instincts and get your hands on an instrument as soon as possible! Thank you!☺
Please see UPDATE on info, second paragraph here. At first I had spoken to Casio USA who said they do not know of any reason not to use rechargeable batteries in the PX-S1100 keyboard. And in the US version of the manual it does not refer to anything regarding the use (or prohibition of use) of rechargeable batteries.
UPDATE: I received an email from Errick Hugee at Casio America who said " As we understand it, using rechargeable batteries is not recommended for the PX-S1100 model. Using rechargeable batteries could have an affect on its functionality (speaker volume, distortion, etc)". And that he had spoken to their EMI division regarding the matter.
Thank you for sharing the information. The instruction manual for the CT-S1 sold in Japan stated that the rechargeable battery was used, but the PX-S1100 only stated the dry battery (there was no mention that the rechargeable battery was prohibited). Therefore, when I contacted the CASIO Customer Relations Office, I received the answer, "The only batteries that can be used are AA alkaline batteries. Unfortunately, we do not support rechargeable batteries."

Japan has a great World music brands - Casio, Kawai, Korg, Roland, Yamaha ... how japan people in Japan would chose the best between these ones ??? the one is better the other ... it is a real riddle\quest ... impossible task
自分はpx-s1100を購入して１ヶ月経ちますが、やはりアップライト、グランドピアノとは鍵盤のタッチが違いすぎると感じました。
でも、とても良い電子ピアノですね！
楽器って、何故か新しいのが欲しくなっちゃいますよね。。
甲能さんのビデオに触発されてCT−S1類似モデルのCT-S400を買ったばかりですが、店頭でPX-S1100触っていいなぁと思っていたところです笑
同価格帯のYAMAHA P-125もかなり良いと感じたのですが、買うときに比較されたのか気になります。

良い音ですね〜。
音だけで聴くと私にはアコースティックピアノに非常に近い音に聞こえてしまいます。
外部スピーカーに接続する事は出来るのかな？
ヘッドホン端子からになっちゃうのかな？
アプリからコントロール出来るのは便利ですね。

Are the samples very different from S3000? It is a huge price difference in my country.
The S3000 has a lot more tones. However, I am satisfied with the S1100 because I mainly play piano sounds.

Sir, i am planning to buy this but there are some negative comments against this saying the weight of the black keys are light compared to the white.. is it true? I am beginer does it affects my learning curve ? Please let me know sir.
When I placed a weight (60g) to measure the weight of the keyboard, the black keys of the S1100 were indeed light!
However, I don't feel a noticeable difference, like the black keys are lighter than the white keys. If you find it appealing, I think you have the option of buying it.☺

ありがとうございます。今回掲載した演奏は、デフォルトの音量設定ですが、レイヤー側の音色（説明書ではUpper2と記載されています）の音量を変えることができます。マニュアルのP11，P37に関連情報が記載されています。
