Thank you Andy for a super insightful video!
Thank you Alex - I'm loving the bike. I've already had people asking about getting one and one person from near Almere who would like to visit. I'm giving them all yours and Tim's contacts.

OMFG have never heard of this bike before….. no thanks to main stream media 🙄 but it’s sooo radical!! But sooo functional!! And needless to say super aero 🤯🤯🤯 thanks for this video!!
Very many thanks for your kind words and taking the time to comment - it is much appreciated. It's the bike that Rico Bogen won the IM 70.3 Worlds on a couple of weeks ago. I'm also about to publish a video on aero testing the bike at the Ku HQ in Almere, Netherlands. Thank you again.
One of the things you didn’t mention is the bike design when compared to the current vogue, based on real data, of stuffing a bottle (or something else) down the jersey to improve aerodynamics. Turns out Ku designed the bike with this in mind hence the very high top tube and sweep upwards for the bento and bottle. This means that in the aero position the gap under your chest is almost completely filled and the air is encouraged to flow around the body. No other bike does this so people have to resort to ‘camelbak down the chest’ option 😅
You're absolutely right and Ku have done a lot of 'real world' aero testing outside with and without the bentonite. It was something I was going to look at with them on aero testing but we ran out of time so sadly I don't have any actual figures.
Very interesting looking bike 😮
Not trying to be negative.. glad you like the bike and works for you!
Having said that.. Feel they over complicated the adjustments. I’m sure comes with way too many parts, different bolts for all different position options. Really like the simplicity of adjustments of the new models of bikes are coming out. More parts at the end means more complication. If the design is not savings you meaningful watts, don’t see the reason for a bike like this on 2023…
Hi there and many thanks for your measured comment, it is much appreciated. From a personal perspective I'm quite happy with the adjustment. Raising and lowering at the front end is simply a matter if undoing the two bolts in the top of each 'stack' - everything then just slides of the top and you can re-order to adjust height. There may well be easier methods out there but I find this absolutely fine. Please remamber that the bike has been 'built' to your 'fit' and therefore the start point is with the front end in the centre of your ideal 'box'. Forward and back is even easier, loosen, move, tighten. The one area that doesn't have the same sort of ease is angle, which is fixed with regard to the TT bars you are using so absolutely appreciated in this respect.
Many thanks again.
Not the prettiest, but everything on this bike just makes sense.
I can't agree more 😀
Great review, thank you Andy! Question: how easy or hard is it to travel with this bike? Bike box fit? Can you take the head set off easily?
Hi Stefan - first of all thank you for your kind comments. I have two answers for you 🙂. First, yes the head set does come apart easily and the process is made simpler because the hydraulic brake cable has a 'formula 1' type clip which means you don't have to worry about fluid and bleeding. Second though, Evoc do a semi-rigid bike called the Road Bike Bag Pro which is also designed for TT bikes and you can fit the bike in without taking the head set apart. It's the bag that KU will recommend.
@@RealLifeReviews thanks Andy!
Thanks for the review but im not to sure about the looks 😂
It's certainly different 🙂. Consider Cadex, Reap, Cervelo X etc. I guess we love our own oddities 🤣🤣
Thank you for the review. Well done! One question: did you pay for the bike ?
Thank you for taking the time to comment. It's a great bike.
Sorry - was reading on my 'phone and didn't see your question. Yes, I did pay for the bike. I spent a lot of time researching - Ku definitely aren't paying me for this 🙂
@@RealLifeReviews great, congrats with your bike!
The cockpit adjustable like the 2023 Scott Plasma 6 ?
Hello. The cockpit is fully adjustable. From your fitting the the bike is built with the bars in the centre of the 'box' range. The bars can then slide backwards and forwards and also easily up and down by simply changing their position amongst the spacers.
for this money and this bike - if you are not going under 5hrs - what a massive waste and overspend - typical AGer!
That's a fair opinion but if someone can afford to treat themselves then why not? Without wishing to start a 'moral' debate, someone buying this bike is less likely to be a heavy smoker and or drinker with the associated costs (or whatever other hobby someone might have) 😀
