this month's setup was inspired by classic blue & white pottery/chinoiserie & ceramics! i was in asia this month, and i've been super inspired by eastern art so this theme felt perfect! hope you guys enjoy this quick little setup!

Amanda, I started bullet journaling because of you back in 2018. You’ve inspired me to this day! I used to do very artsy beautiful themes like you do, but now I use a more minimal approach as my life brought more responsibilities that unfortunately take a lot of my time and I need more planning space in general (so I use daily logs and rolling daily’s instead of setting up a whole week in advance). Thank you so much for your inspiring work. You’re incredible ❤

I love watching these. It gives me so much inspiration for my bullet journal. Just started my 2024 bullet journal and I do this weird thing where I pick a yearly theme. For examples this years was Disney and each month was a different Princess. For 2024, I decided on a Greek theme and each month is a different god or goddess
If you like this style of the blue and white you should also check out the portuguese tiles called azulejo, i think you'd like it too (that's what i thought it was when i saw the thumbnail lmao), it looks really amazing tho!!

I think it's good that you're taking care of your mental health and not stressing yourself out so much. Personally, I don't expect new ideas for a bullet journal to be constantly being invented in videos like this. Almost everything already exists. I'm all about relaxation here. Listening to your calm voice and seeing how you draw relaxes me. even without an exciting new idea, I will watch your videos. I could imagine that many people feel the same way. So you don't need to put yourself under so much pressure.❤

I honestly think that you talking about all the pressure behind bullet journaling and about how you're taking it easier is such a fantastic thing! I myself gave up bujo a while ago because it was too much work and the result was never what I wanted, but I got personally back into it recently when I started being kinder towards myself and my work ❤ So take your time! I'd watch your november plan with me even if it came out in January 😂
(Also, you're not at all weird for the Christmas movies thing. My uncle is doing that as well and I have a friend who celebrated Halloween by watching Nightmare before Christmas and painting Christmas candles, lol)

Love this spread! Those swirls are so much fun to do. I did these on a project as a commission and trying to explain to my client that they are not really as complicated as they look whilst not selling myself short was difficult.

just a random yearly theme idea (it’s not necessary to make this into a doodle planner ofc the ideas won’t suit everyone :)): but like it would be fun to do a whole year of themes of your favorite music albums and like we could do it along with you but in our own creative flow (swifties could do an entire year of taylor swift themes and same for other fans etc etc i hope you get what i mean) but yeah please do try it out! would love to see this kind of idea in a bullet journal..a whole year of music albums themed monthly spreads :)

I am looking for ideas to to design a 2024 Bullet journal. I want to incorperate a theme throughout that is based around my mom who i lost in Dec 2022. I want each month to be inspired or centered around things she liked or was fond of. i need help how to set it up and ideas. please help, i am slowly getting to a point to continue my healing of losing her. ive been in a dark place and slowly coming out.
