  • So while finishing up some other projects in my garage. I need to slow down and do another Day One aquascaping project. This time I will be making a
    3D aquarium background.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Material needed for this project:
    -Styrofoam 1inch thick or thicker much better
    -Silicone sealant
    -Box Cutter
    -Cement
    -Cement Dye
    -Sahara water proofing compound (or you can use your local water proofing products, I used this brand because it's 3x cheaper than the rest of waterproofing products)

    Do you think the ones you put on the ground needed to be glued or would they be heavy enough to sit on their own? I'm thinking about making some decor for my cichkid tank but don't want to have to drain it and take the sand out just to silicone the decor to the bottom of the tank. Thought about gluing some rocks in the foam for weight.

    • @AriesArriesgado
      @AriesArriesgado  Před 2 měsíci +1

      I glued them, or else all will will float. If you plan to make a decor for your existing tank filled with water. Try experimenting by adding heavy rock sandwich between Styrofoam. Or better just use real rocks and use filter foam and super glue to glue the rocks together to create arch and different rock formation.

    But my problem is I just reseal my 5x2x2 tank and the 3d background seem to have lots of pressure for the tank

    • @AriesArriesgado
      @AriesArriesgado  Před 2 lety

      Yeah you are right. But there is a solution to that. 1st option is it will take 1 complete water change every week. Do that for 2 months. Then wait for another 1 month 2x water change..until you notice algae starts to grow. Do the final partial water change. Then add the fish. Until now this tank is healthy and so as the fishes. 2nd option is drop chopped banana tree trunk inside the tank overnight. This will neutralize the effect of the cement. But still you need to wait for the beneficial bacteria to grow. Before adding the fish. Thank you😊

    S. Juan 3:16 RVR1960
    La paga del pecado es muerte (infierno) pero Cristo pagó nuestra deuda en la cruz para nuestra salvacion! Debemos volvernos a Dios y apartarnos de nuestros caminos pecaminosos, confesar que Jesús es el Señor y creer con nuestro corazón que fue resucitado de entre los muertos por Dios, y debemos de ser bautizados en el nombre del Padre, del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo y vivir por Su palabra y mandamientos! Confia que Dios ayudara con el resto!
    Busca a Dios, antes de que sea muy tarde! Hoy podria ser tu ultimo dia en la tierra!
    Que tengas un hermoso dia!
