they forgot coastal road, they forgot all the metros, they forgot atal setu, they forgot the monorail, they forgot the lush green areas and went straight to dharavi like a typical european
That's what their Colonial German Owners direct them to do. Negativity sells faster in the West.
What is wrong in showing dharavi it is a slum.
@@highvoltage5874 it's called selective journalism to defame a country.
@@highvoltage5874journalism doesn't just to show things that are unpleasant but also good things
BIASED EUROPEAS AND ALSO DHARAVI IS GETTING DEVELOPED IN TO COMMERTIAL SPACE
The national park is about 50% larger than the island of Manhattan.
It's not Bombay, it's Mumbai. The journalist should know that and Dharavi is a business hub in it's own way :)
They tell dharavi is indias famous slum area and also they says it generates 1 billion us dollar revenue very year. the people of dharavi must be super rich...
way to focus on the high priority topic : name 😅 joker
Comment is well taken, had you focused on trash, filth and garbage everywhere. Instead you found the most important issue to dwell on, name. Way to go, this is why Mumbai looks the way it does.
@@Oceansta Well said. This is why Mumbai looks the way it does, focussed on misplaced priorities
Sorry that foreigners favourite tourist destination in Mumbai would cease to exist in few years
Yep slums will be soon removed and building are made.
Am certain that they'll rent out those apartments and shift to another location. Wait and see
How 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
You have it a tourist destination....because it is the largest slum in the world.
The most historic site in Mumbai are Elephanta Cave Temples built in 600 BC ❤❤❤❤ not the colonial eyesore of Gateway
Mam come back 10 years later and you will not be able to identify it's Mumbai. It would have transformed so magnificently.
Hope it wont be under the sea 😁
@@jeanpierre-st7rl Europe/USA will not exist.
sapne dekhna chod de. The transform ation in the last 10 yrs has been minimal. Even today more than 50% of Mumbai lives in slums. A few metro lines and bridges doesnt change all that much. are u even mumbaikar?
With 2 bn population...I don't think anything will change...it will be worse.
Dw travel Europe ki khoobsurti batata hai .Aur yaha wo India ka trash bata Raha hai 😑.
Shame on you dw travel

DW Travel as always doesn't show things that deserved to be shown
As always? This judgement about our content is rather general and, from our point of view, quite unfair.
@@DWTravel not general, specific on India/ as a matter of fact the underdeveloped nations
Sick mentality of DW 😢
Per capita emissions Germany very high than india😅
Check Gdp per Capita...😂
@@sharadkurade7685 Thanks to colonization and looting of money, resources and artefacts from many countries in Asia and Africa.
@@sharadkurade7685exactly
When it's about things wherein india is shown negatively then per capita is fine (like in income)
But when it's negative for the west then ignore the per capita (like emissions)
Sorry we might be poor but we don't need to be western bootlickers 😊
That's right. And it's also about learning from each other. We didn't want to portray Mumbai in a bad light with this video. We are very sorry that some of you users seem to take it that way.
She didn't show anything good made by Indians, only those by the british. She could even show the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel right next to Gateway of India.
thats not her job to make anything look good or bad. job is to show things as they are. If you want that, go watch some Godi media channel
@@Oceansta her job was to show a balanced view. I don't respect godi media but foreign media should change the age old view it has.
@@alonerpro do you live in Mumbai?
@@Oceansta close to Mumbai
@@alonerpro then you should be well aware of the ground reality. If you have been to any major Indian city out of Mumbai, you would know how bad the situation here is. Unless you prefer to see everything with rose- tinted glasses.
The Art Deco buildings were built by Indian businessmen, dear DW journalist. Being from your beloved era of British colonial rule does not change that.
Reporting is supposed to be fair and unbiased. Yes, show the bad, along with the good. But,no . Shame on you dw snd on you the reporter for becoming a sell out.
Just a collage of Vox pops, and you call it a documentary? Poor shots and editing make it even worse.
Nice.
I`m happy to see that India have started with recycling and to get more greener!!! :D I hope to see soon only electric cars so the air will get better too and more fresher to breathe in! :)
