If I were a jw & I was told to shun my daughter/ son, I'd tell them to take their " indoctrinated rules" where the Sun Don't Shine! I would Never Allow anyone come between me & my children. There's quite a bit of sad circumstances, people & of course intermediate family I pray for, my prayer book is full, you pray for them.

The man witness commented regarding the reason for Tony Morris’ removal “what does one man’s actions have to do with the organization?” Well……it is VERY relevant to the organization because they enforce their doctrinal policies by disfellowshipping anyone whose actions cause negative attention to the organization.

I caught & appreciate that important truth also. Every parent knows their child’s individual voice no mater how many children they have. Just as a child knows the voices of their parents. I have five dogs since my kids are grown with their own families & I recognize/know each one’s individual bark as well as the sound of each one’s paw steps according to their individual gait. And regarding the JW man’s concept, that by praying to our FATHER without using a personal name, that man cannot be certain which father/god is listening & will answer…….. Only our FATHER, our Creator, can read & understand our heart & thoughts w/o any vocal utterances & then touch our heart & give us that undeniable spiritual feeling that motivates good & comforts pain & restores hope & strength & is so loving & kind as to give absolute undeniable MIRACLES. It is the evidence of that internal mental / neuro & physiological moment that assures us of our spiritual connection/bond with our FATHER & our Savior’s FATHER who created us.

JW think they have doing the best help to other people by preaching and saving them from armageddon to paradise. 3. You should hang around as little as possible with non JWs. 3. This satan word is soon gone, they believe. So why waste your time. And bonus answer JWs do help other JWs when something bad happen. You can give money to JW org and they use it for that, (who knows, how many % really goes to that). Just because Satan threw a monkey wrench in our perfection and Paradise , doesn’t mean it still will not happen! Jesus promised a resurrection , and the meek shall inherit the earth , and so many scriptures that prove the Earth will endure forever , Jesus has been given Kingship and will rule with the chosen ones who are anointed over the earth and it will be a Paradise, which is the Kingdom Jesus preached about ! Dear Earthgirl7, You are absolutely right! Trying to reason with JWs concerning the scriptures is close to futile. Shaking their faith in the governing body is probably slightly more effective. Either way is difficult because they desperately want to believe the lies.

EVERY time a JW tries to say that Jesus prayed to Jehovah, then asks you, "So was He praying to Himself?" This PROVES the fact that JWs don't properly understand the Godhead.

I meant that if the trinity is such a fundamental concept then why isn't it the word 'trinity' found in the Bible. Trinity or triads of gods appear in all pagan religions dating back to ancient Babylon, nimrods city. A free book is available online -"The Two Babylon's" by Hislop. The watchtower used to print it.

I use to be the one selling it ( as the book servant ) and I have read it from cover to cover. The trinity is a sound and logical doctrine - well understood by everyone except monotheists. When you understand the spirit world and how deities are created, then the trinity makes a lot of sense. A trinity is a council of 3 deities nothing more and nothing less who go by the title God - which actually means GOOD or Righteous. They are of "one in mind and one objective." God is a "composite group" not a single deity. Monotheism is a flawed teaching from the Jews who could not accept 1+ 1+ 1 = 1 mathematically in the form of a covenant group; which Charles Taze Russell later took on as his own teaching.
You could have told them to just look it up themselves on their own JW website.....but oh yeah.....that's right....they took the announcement about Tony Morris no longer being a member of the GB off of the website within 24 hrs😂 I would have loved to be in that car group when they came out and explained what happened 😂

This is brilliant. The woman debunks herself by saying we must use Jah's name because there are so many gods. And if it were that important, Jesus would have taught us to pray in Jah's name, with no ambiguity whatsoever. But he didn't.
@ 11 minutes in, this man was trying to tell you unless somebody didn't know the NAME of who they are praying to, then the Father won't hear them. The problem is, a non-believer, as well as the demons, may KNOW the actual, proper name, of God, but still not KNOW Him or believe in Him. This whole thing about knowing the proper name of God is just silly, and sad, because JWs still don't know the Father, because they don't know the Son; they think He's some angel.

One thing that struck me when you mentioned John 1:1 was that if according to them the Word was a god, does it mean a god became flesh? So all JW are following a god and praying in the name of a god, while it is written multiple times in scriptures that there is only one God and no other gods before Him.
People can you see how clever and cunning these men are? They know the members will speculate on why he’s not a GB anymore and because they were so vague about it, they know most will assume health reasons. This way if anything negative or nefarious does come to light they’ll just say the friends ran ahead and assumed things they didn’t say. Basically the same way they claim the rank n file ran ahead about the 1975 thing. This also gives them time to whitewash things if something is nefarious. You have to remember these guys are master wordsmiths and notorious for being very cunning. I mean just look recently how Geoffrey Jackson deliberately sidestepped that question at the ARC hearings. He answered a totally different question asked him. And ofcourse the lawyer ( though knowing some of their tactics) still missed it. Ole Jacko knew the lawyer was asking ( like any rank n file would know) that he was asking if there are the only spokesperson on the earth for God, not if they were the only ones in their religion God uses, as he implied in his diverted answer. 🤨 slippery snakes are hard to hold.

Thank you for your faithfulness! The JWs should not be detested and have doors slammed on them, but they should be treated well while more of we who know Jesus share the true gospel with them so they might hear and accept the gift of salvation. Keep it up brother time is short (Luke 10:2)

@@sandydouglas2914 I would hope people would read the bible and put the most emphasis on God's word rather than the Watchtower and Awake. Acts 17 tells of the Bereans examining the scriptures daily, but I do not think it is encouraged by the Watchtower Society when it comes to sources other than theirs. One of the main reasons I did not join almost 50 yrs ago was having been told that verification was encouraged, but use their literature. That made no sense to me especially with a number of wrong prophesies. Now with things like cover ups of sexual abuse, I think people have drifted into idol worship (the Watchtower Society) and have moved away from true biblical teaching.
Also I knew my dad's name was Roland, but I still called him daddy. We need to be careful not to drink poison because it may look and smell good. Jehovah's plan is for people to accept Jesus as saviour. He also made it so people would be saved by looking at a brass snake. If Jehovah points to Jesus, please notice that Isaiah 42:8 tells us that God Jehovah will not share his glory with "a god" (as in John chapter 1 NWT).

If you and several parents were to go to pick up your child from a kindergarten or day care facility and your kid along with several other kids call out -daddy! Most of us would be able to distinguish our kids voice from the others there. Or at least I hope you would, you certainly should. Then how much more would an all powerful mighty flawless being could and certainly would know his kids voice. Matthew 11:25 "At that time Jesus said in response: “I publicly praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intellectual ones and have revealed them to young children" Or when he was at the point of death he cried out" Eli,Eli why hast thou forsaken me."

@@ucanliv4ever - Not one text says Jesus ever prayed to JEHOVAH. The actual name Jehovah is not used in any reference where Jesus was praying. The title "my father" or "my god" are used. As a result Jesus could have been praying to "Satan" or the "Tooth Fairy" and you would never know it - as God's name is not even used once. Even the New World Translation makes that point very clear. Since when is "ELI ELI" the name JEHOVAH ? ELI means "MY GOD" not Jehovah. What your really saying in between the lines from your above quote is - If the "lord of the earth" or this world is Satan, and Jesus is calling and praying to the "Lord of the Earth" in Matthew 11:25 - then he, Jesus, must be a Satanist. That's how stupid your reasoning is.
Around 15.23 That Jehovah’s stated, "I'm not required to follow any set dogma.. " That Jehovah’s Witnesses is liar. They are expected to say, 'Jehovah' when praying. Especially in public pray. If a JW brother said a public pray and said 'father', 'God' or any other acceptable expressions for addressing God. But did not say, Jehovah. He would be immediately be looked on with suspicion after giving the prayer. And he would later by questioned, by the JW elders. I remember a number of brothers saying 'Jehovah' repeatedly during public prayer. That Jehovah’s Witnesses is a liar. 😏 I'd say it to his face. But he wouldn't speak to me. Because I disassociated from the corrupt manipulative Watchtower organisation.

I'm impressed on so many levels!! First, I can't believe it never occurred to me before that Jesus never used the name Jehovah once, not even when asked how "we" should pray!! I wonder why they place such importance on Jehovah over Jesus? It's strange. Instead of Jews for Jesus, they're like Christians for Jehovah! It is a fact that the name Jehovah or the Tetragrammaton is not mentioned or used in the Christian Greek/Aramaic scriptures! And very, very few of JW’s Witnesses can use the Bible like a two edged sword.
I wish you would have thought to mention the verse that says that the name of Jesus is the name above every other name. However, this is outstanding. I love the way that you conversed with them, and I pray that they are reflecting on the word of God that you shared …so that they could come to God’s truth, His entire truth, and nothing but the genuine truth. I still haven't, but I'm working on it as time allows. I heard you say something about "modalities"? The Bible, as far as I understand it, expresses that God is God the Father, God the Son, and God Holy Spirit. They are three distinct persons. We wouldn't have a tendency to think of that as only "one God", but God is allowed to define Himself. He does that in countless places in the Bible. In Genesis he says "let us make man in our image", and that continues as Gods tell us to go make disciples "baptizing them in the name (singular) of God the Father, God the Son, and God Holy Spirit (plural). It's in various places, and God tells us not to rely on our own understanding... I think precisely because this is hard for us to wrap our heads around.

I agree with you. I ask a JW if it was necessary to start our pray in the name of Jehovah and he said that it wasn't necessary. But I have never heard the JW's pray any other way. I prefer to follow Jesus example, because Jesus is Jehovah of the Old Testament ( I am that I am) in the New Testament Jesus said that he is I am.
They are contradicting their teachings because they want the people to pray and get to know Jehovah, however when it comes to Jesus not using Jehovah’s name when he prays. It is totally fine 🤷🏽
It’s amazing what people believe in order to feel that they will survive something, so their lives will continue on going after they die when none of us know the truth to that so many people claim to think they know it and they’re being used by the people who are in charge of these religious beliefs in the writers of these books. So he is my advice. Enjoy your life don’t worry about surviving after death cross that bridge when you get to it because everything else is speculation realize that your wants to survive is allowing you to be used and manipulated if you want to try to understand even more start playing the game of poker and when you lose another individual is continuously beat you figure out why you’re losing and once you figure that out, you will realize why you’ve been losing when it comes to the concept of God

Johannes Greber is who the WTBTS appealed to, he was a Catholic priest turned spiritist. A good co-text for John (2:19-21) is John (10:17,18). Twice Jesus says he will raise his body, all Arians accuse Christ of lying in those passages. JWs are nihilists so they believe against all the passages in the new testament that when someone dies the cease to exist that's why they don't except Jesus as one of 3 persons who raised his body.
You caught them out, speculating about their own GB members. He doesn't have a clue why Morris is no longer a GB member and why would that be? Why are they so secretive? Apparently he's still at Bethel with his wife so it seems odd that he would still be there if he stood down from a Bethel position already. If they can't tell their members that he stood down due to ill health then that is just another sign of this cult being seriously crazy.

There were early Christians that did not believe in Jehovah at all. They considered him to be an evil lower-class god. Jehovah was not considered the Father Jesus was referring to. After reading the Old Testament, they might have had a point.
And many subsects of early Christian’s didn’t even think Jesus was devine. There were lots of competing beliefs at the time. The way they got round a lot of the infighting was to come up with the Trinity. What we see today is just the sect that came out on top and the various dogmas and teachings that came out of that.

I caught & appreciate that important truth also. Every parent knows their child’s individual voice no mater how many children they have. Just as a child knows the voices of their parents. I have five dogs since my kids are grown with their own families & I recognize/know each one’s individual bark as well as the sound of each one’s paw steps according to their individual gait.

1. How can we 'know for a fact' that God exists? What is that fact? If we had that fact, we wouldn't be atheists. Maybe you can share the one fact with us that would convince us God made us. I would be greatly appreciative, to say the least!
2. Have you read the Bible from beginning to end? The whole context provides a greater perspective.
3. Is Jehovah against charity work? I have met more atheists than I can count who do volunteer work for the community, but have never met a single Jehovah's Witness. Do you know why that is? I have never been a Jehovah's Witness, so don't understand. I thought Jesus' message was about helping others. Maybe you could shed light on that, too.
4. If atheists are motivated to do charity work, does that mean their charity work is the work of Satan?
5. Also, if atheists help save lives, is that the work of Satan?

This satan word is soon gone, they believe. So why waste your time. And bonus answer JWs do help other JWs when something bad happen. You can give money to JW org and they use it for that, (who knows, how many % really goes to that). I use to be the one selling it ( as the book servant ) and I have read it from cover to cover. The trinity is a sound and logical doctrine - well understood by everyone except monotheists.
When you understand the spirit world and how deities are created, then the trinity makes a lot of sense. A trinity is a council of 3 deities nothing more and nothing less who go by the title God - which actually means GOOD or Righteous. They are of "one in mind and one objective." God is a "composite group" not a single deity. Monotheism is a flawed teaching from the Jews who could not accept 1+ 1+ 1 = 1 mathematically in the form of a covenant group; which Charles Taze Russell later took on as his own teaching.
You could have told them to just look it up themselves on their own JW website.....but oh yeah.....that's right....they took the announcement about Tony Morris no longer being a member of the GB off of the website within 24 hrs😂

@ 11 minutes in, this man was trying to tell you unless somebody didn't know the NAME of who they are praying to, then the Father won't hear them. The problem is, a non-believer, as well as the demons, may KNOW the actual, proper name, of God, but still not KNOW Him or believe in Him. People can you see how clever and cunning these men are? They know the members will speculate on why he’s not a GB anymore and because they were so vague about it, they know most will assume health reasons. This way if anything negative or nefarious does come to light they’ll just say the friends ran ahead and assumed things they didn’t say. Basically the same way they claim the rank n file ran ahead about the 1975 thing. This also gives them time to whitewash things if something is nefarious. @@sandydouglas2914 I would hope people would read the bible and put the most emphasis on God's word rather than the Watchtower and Awake. Acts 17 tells of the Bereans examining the scriptures daily, but I do not think it is encouraged by the Watchtower Society when it comes to sources other than theirs. One of the main reasons I did not join almost 50 yrs ago was having been told that verification was encouraged, but use their literature. That made no sense to me especially with a number of wrong prophesies. Now with things like cover ups of sexual abuse, I think people have drifted into idol worship (the Watchtower Society) and have moved away from true biblical teaching.
Also I knew my dad's name was Roland, but I still called him daddy. We need to be careful not to drink poison because it may look and smell good. Jehovah's plan is for people to accept Jesus as saviour. He also made it so people would be saved by looking at a brass snake. If Jehovah points to Jesus, please notice that Isaiah 42:8 tells us that God Jehovah will not share his glory with "a god" (as in John chapter 1 NWT).

If you and several parents were to go to pick up your child from a kindergarten or day care facility and your kid along with several other kids call out -daddy! The title "my father" or "my god" are used.

I'm impressed on so many levels!! First, I can't believe it never occurred to me before that Jesus never used the name Jehovah once, not even when asked how "we" should pray!! I wonder why they place such importance on Jehovah over Jesus? It's strange. Instead of Jews for Jesus, they're like Christians for Jehovah! It is a fact that the name Jehovah or the Tetragrammaton is not mentioned or used in the Christian Greek/Aramaic scriptures! And very, very few of JW’s Witnesses can use the Bible like a two edged sword.
I wish you would have thought to mention the verse that says that the name of Jesus is the name above every other name. However, this is outstanding. The Bible, as far as I understand it, expresses that God is God the Father, God the Son, and God Holy Spirit. They are three distinct persons. We wouldn't have a tendency to think of that as only "one God", but God is allowed to define Himself. He does that in countless places in the Bible. In Genesis he says "let us make man in our image", and that continues as Gods tell us to go make disciples "baptizing them in the name (singular) of God the Father, God the Son, and God Holy Spirit (plural). It's in various places, and God tells us not to rely on our own understanding... I think precisely because this is hard for us to wrap our heads around.

I agree with you. I ask a JW if it was necessary to start our pray in the name of Jehovah and he said that it wasn't necessary. But I have never heard the JW's pray any other way.
I prefer to follow Jesus example, because Jesus is Jehovah of the Old Testament ( I am that I am) in the New Testament Jesus said that he is I am.
Technically jws won’t be punished if you pray publicly and say “dear Heavenly father”, but it’s greatly encouraged to say “dear Jehovah” instead.
They are contradicting their teachings because they want the people to pray and get to know Jehovah, however when it comes to Jesus not using Jehovah’s name when he prays. It is totally fine 🤷🏽
It’s amazing what people believe in order to feel that they will survive something, so their lives will continue on going after they die when none of us know the truth to that so many people claim to think they know it and they’re being used by the people who are in charge of these religious beliefs in the writers of these books. So he is my advice. @@Jewelliet GB members have been able to keep their title no matter how mentally and physically ill they were. Apparently he's still at Bethel with his wife so it seems odd that he would still be there if he stood down from a Bethel position already.

There were early Christians that did not believe in Jehovah at all. They considered him to be an evil lower-class god. Jehovah was not considered the Father Jesus was referring to. After reading the Old Testament, they might have had a point.
And many subsects of early Christian’s didn’t even think Jesus was devine. There were lots of competing beliefs at the time. The way they got round a lot of the infighting was to come up with the Trinity. What we see today is just the sect that came out on top and the various dogmas and teachings that came out of that.
