That would be cute/cool!! Let her pick one of these, from a selection of a few or however and just let her fix it up how she would like.
That would be a fun video, and I think that's how a lot of people start getting a hang of building in the sims, it gives them a place to start when sometimes an empty canvas can seem a bit intimidating or lack inspiration (maybe, was for me anyway, a long long time ago, lol).

4:47 if you look closely at the bottom there's a comfy chair, to look into the open bathroom and watch the people using it
I've decided that EA designs houses to look good from the map, but then the inside has no furnishing to make the houses more affordable for sims. Then they sometimes just forget to try with the little furnishing they do complete
I also think they have a limit on how many things they can put in there so it can run on low-spec rigs. Also for players to add their own stuff in. That's why they look so empty.

YES!! I feel like when you struggle to get packs you learn to appreciate what you have. I got City Living for my birthday and I freaked out over seeing the colored in world.

The bottom bathroom in the StrangerVille house is ridiculously big. That's how I would build like 10 years ago, no not 10, probably 15 years ago, when I was 13 years old.
There's a toilet on the bottom floor though, in the Get Famous house. Still weird that there are no toilets on the top floor, but at least there's one toilet in the house!

I noticed that ea puts alot of effort in building the house architecturally, but then flops in furnishing... But honestly same. But I do like the idea they leave them somewhat blank so we can add our own touch.

For the record its been a trend lately... maybe only in california, but im not 100% sure... that master bedrooms with en suite bathrooms do not have doors. Just archways. I know... weird. But for some reason thats whats being built these days. My sister recently got a house that had that and she wound up putting curtains up.
