Any boy named Devante nine times out of ten his Mom is a Jodeci fan. 80’s & 90’s gave us so many great r&b groups male and female. For me it’s New Edition, Jodeci, Guy, Tony, Toni Tone, Mint Condition, After 7, Troop, Hi 5 and Levert.
MY FIRST & FOREMOST JODECI RECOMMENDATION IS THEIR FIRST BIG HIT: “Come and Talk To Me” . This song was FIRE back in the day and a huge hit for them and I was lucky to see them in concert as the opening group for MC Hammer who by the way, put on a PHENOMENAL show. I think “Come and Talk To Me” would be a great reaction video for you but, if you don’t do that, then at LEAST listen to the song for yourself-- I believe you’ll be real happy you did. Not just because I and a lot of other people like it, but because of all the other types of R&B guy-groups’ songs from that era that you’ve enjoyed in the past- these guys are kind of like a little bit of a semi-hidden gem. Just try it- you won’t be disappointed as long as you listen to the right songs- the ones that we who are experienced because we were around when they were popular, recommend.

God I miss those days O'so much! The 1990's was the decade of RnB 100%! Jodeci were definitely at the top of the charts all throughout the 90's. They would come out with hits after hits, after hits all during that time period. I love your videos!!! 😁👍🏽♥️ It makes me so happy to see younger people listening to some of the amazing music that I was so blessed to have been able to live through 💯 And not only that, but I was born in December of 1980. Glad yall got around to Jodeci, one of the greatest R&B groups of all time. DeVante, The tallest dude in the group wrote and produced almost everything they did. Yall should check out Cry For You and their version of Stevie Wonder's song Lately from MTV Unplugged
Jodeci was not only an original R&B group, they were also a fashion culture. They were one of the first groups to wear the Timberland Boots,have tattoos, and wear Jewelry(especially two earrings.) You reviewed JoJo and K-Ci earlier in a video, well that is K-Ci who is singing lead in this group. He and JoJo are brothers and Mr.Dalvin and Devante Swing who wrote, produced and played all the instruments to their songs are also brothers.

Total, Blaque, 112, Mint Condition, SWV, Jodeci, Next, Jade, Brownstone, H-town, Boyz 2 men, Black Street, TLC, Destiny's Child, Dru Hill, High Five, Changing faces, Jagged Edge, Silk, etc, etc, etc and that's just off the top of my head.
