sheesh, crazy goal by Sears. KC is so dangerous but they seem to be missing Bia a bit. DeMelos tying goal was a beauty. special mention here. the booth crews who do these games rarely get mentions, but i appreciate Jordan Angeli and the play by play person who did this match. Angeli is great, knows her stuff, and is funny at times with some of the things she tells us and how she tells them. for example she mentioned DeMelo drawing penalties all the time as "sneaky", which i lold at. she also mentioned Fischer only knows one way to play, full speed. even when being a tad critical, she does it in a respectful way. i enjoy her color analysis very much. 2 very entertaining matches tonight. gg NWSL/teams.
She definitely knows her stuff but I guess I’m one of the few who can’t take her voice… she calls Thorns games too much. She didn’t for the Houston match and I enjoyed it much more. Honestly there’s a few play-by-play announcers for the NWSL who voices can distract you from the game. Every sports league have the few but the NWSL only have a handful and even less have voices that are pleasing. Some will say that doesn’t matter but it all goes into the experience of watching or listening to the game. Not trying to sound rude but just being honest. Some people can’t handle the Burke’s or Hubie Brown’s of the NBA too.

KC is fun to watch. Their offense is ridiculously strong, but Gotham's next level defending is going to ruin this party come playoff time!!!
Racing need more consistency and a few more deadly duos/combos/link-up plays but.... all the potential is there on display.
Demelo, turner, Sears, and Louisville is finding a way.

The chemistry in DC is becoming something really special. Croix Bethune is a superstar. The defending leaves a lot to be desired though. ACFC should have been out of this game, and the reason they didn’t tie it in the second half was because of their inability to finish open shots.
Best NWSL match of the weekend.. Vlatko's mediocre game management style was on full display once more. That Current team is loaded with talent. Anything less than winning the championship is unacceptable.

8 mins of stoppage and 12 mins of extra time…
They didn't capture it in the highlights, but the stadium was furious about the stoppage time that would never end. The chant at the end was the loudest I've ever heard a ref called out in person.

They didn’t have that they stopped the clock the second Louisville scored the goal worst game of officiating ever. Also Louisville are crybabies always fake getting injured to get that extra time.

This maybe the new thing Im going to complain about every week when watching the NWSL. But...c'mon, really, can we please stop having ads in the middle of football matches now?! Not having ads in the middle of the game is one of the reasons I love this sport. Once the match starts, there are no commercials and really no stoppage of play (even balls going out of play, injuries don’t feel like stoppages of play like other sports) until halftime. This is just what we need…more consumerism, smh. Having ads in the middle of the match is so american. It ruins the chance for the league to grow. What are you going to say. Do you want to watch a women's league where there's commercials in the middle of the match? Lastly, I don't know why the play by play person was getting so excited be Kansas City Currents's third goal. It took a massive deflection off the Racing Louisville defender and I don't think it would have gone in without that deflection.

@@randypierce5614 That's not what I'm sayin bro. What I'm sayin is people are gonna get turned off if they are watchin the league and the see commercials in the middle of the match. Also, they are not, "making tons of money from these commercials". At most they are making $150k from them and as low is $25k.
