Bellefonte is located at almost the exact geographic center of Pennsylvania. The town is hilly, the downtown with the neighborhoods having been built on the hillside going up the hill from Spring Creek. They have done quite a nice job of sprucing up the downtown with eateries and specialty shops, while keeping that old fashioned look. Bellefonte is the county seat of Center County and the trip goes past the courthouse at approximately the 1:30 point. Bellefonte is approximately 10 miles from the campus of Penn State University.

You forgot to mention, it also the place where Duck Miller grew up! Also, the great pizza establishment!!!!!!

Hope it stays nice and clean and dont become infested/destroyed by junkies and drug dealers.The locals need to take a strong stand against those elements early so it dont get out of controll.

Nice town, but I would not care to drive (or walk, for that matter) on some of those hills when it snows.
