I've just ordered the new Leon FR first edition with same engine but with the DSG gearbox and its a perfect balance between a fun and sporty B road car and a distance cruiser! The AC is one of those things we will have to get to used to it has to be said but overall the cabin design is phenomenal!!

I used to watch your videos some time ago but stopped because the quality was poor, however I've just watched this and you have come on leaps and bounds!. You have a an obvious interest in cars and that comes across. Keep up the good work. I own the last model seat Leon and the Leon logo is not to the left, its still in the middle but in bold capital letters, regards Graeme

2 moths ago i order the new Leon, car still didn't arrive, but i have the same felling about using that AC. I'm still a guy which set the temperature on AC before driving and most of all don't change it while driving. It looks like that more and more manufacturers are going whit same system to replace physical buttons for touch screen, and as mentioned in this review its dangerous using touch while driving. But in all , this is a thing which we have to get use to it, just for information, temperature you can control also whit voice command on your steering wheel. Great Review, good job

Not sure the car you reviewed has adaptive cruise control and blind spot indicators. That’s only on the first edition initially in the uk.

The 1.0 tsi in this car is pretty decent, it’s light on its feet and responsive. The only difference between the 1.0 and the 1.5 is on motorway speeds above 60-80 mph.

Because u dont have any knobs for the ac u can talk to the car and say for it like change temp 22degrees for example

congratulations great review. could you tell me how the stock sound system feels (not the beats sound)? How many speakers does it have, where are they positioned and the specific or total watts rms? Some say 6 speakers who 7 and who 8 and who 9 incredible not even seat from certain answers sometimes says 6 sometimes 7 speakers !!!! Tell us if it has 6 speakers: 2 rear woofers with the tweeters above near the opening absolutely empty and fake, 2 forward woofers plus 2 tweeters. Or 7 speakers: as before and an additional central speaker hidden in the dashboard? Or 8 with real tweeters behind but without hidden central speaker in front? Or 9 with everything, 5 at the front and 4 at the back? It is absurd not to find this information certain and to find it all but there is only one truth and what is it?

great review but the video quality is really bad, either the camera records at wrong resolution, the camera is from 2010 and can't go above shity 720p or the rendering settings are wrong

I don't know why it's so bright over there, here in Italy the roof liner is far darker..not black, but dark grey I'd say, like the seats.

Wasn't impressed with the test drive. I want to know what a car is like on different roads. Felt like you were driving round the houses. I don't know what VW group are coming up with a stupid sensitive infoiment system to control the heating and radio etc. Like you I prefer knobs to control the ventilation & radio. Whats the point of safety aids when you have a system like this when you have to take your eyes off the road.
