Excellent work. Is there a suggestion for those of us not as comfortable with our hands that close on the router table for the small parts round over?

that's right. Working with small parts on the router table is dangerous. I use the method of cutting several times, little by little.
Or, cut it off with a knife and sand it with coarse sandpaper.
